Six months ago, I made a plan to return to Greece and celebrate 50 there without speeches, gifts and unnecessary fuss for the hero of the day, which I did. I bought an inexpensive tour for two weeks from Mouzenidis and flew. Whoever was in Paralea knows - this is a resort village like Divnomorsk near Gelendzhik only on the shores of the Aegean Sea (it somehow warms the soul) Hotel Lito is an ordinary 2-star hotel - breakfast and a place where you can take a shower, relax at lunch, store dry wine in the refrigerator and sleep. The purpose of the trip was as follows: I went by bus to the city of Katerini (20 minutes), then from the bus station (Ktel in Greek) to the village of Litochoro (30 minutes), then from the central square up into the mountains on foot, after 40 minutes I am on Olympus. What can I say, Elbrus will be cooler, but it has its own flavor, some kind of aura of its own - I have been drawn here for 10 years since my last trip. If you repeat my route, then pay attention to the following: go along the right edge of the village, you will get to the Olympus National Park - there will be a concrete path for about three kilometers, approximately in the middle there will be a path up with the number E-4 - feel free to go and get to a wonderful platform where you can and you need (like me) to have a picnic - the views are excellent. There are no special entertainments in the Paraleya village itself. I was at the disco Caucus, a pretty decent place with European music: entrance 4 euros, with an entrance ticket a cocktail is free. The audience comes at 11 o'clock. What surprised me was that there are practically no Russian tourists in this part of Greece. Mostly Serbs, Romanians, Poles. There was volleyball on the beach - all some kind of variety. I won’t talk about food for a long time, there are a lot of taverns, choose according to your taste: dishes 4-10 euros, wine 3 euros 05 liters. In supermarkets I took fruit for 1-2 euros, dry wine (I recommend Emiglikos (2 euros)) I went to Meteora, it’s impressive, I advise you to look. For shopping and gifts I went to Katerini, an ordinary European city, but the shops are pleased with the variety, there is something to buy, haggle, discounts are usually up to 30 percent, a lot of good quality Greek goods. Yes, and it’s just interesting to wander around the city, drink Eliko coffee in a colorful coffee shop
