The first thing that immediately impressed me was the territory and service of the hotel, all services on
level, the staff is very friendly.
We drove from the airport for about 2 hours, but during this time we saw half
region of Pieria, and the view of Olympus is simply mesmerizing.
We had breakfasts and dinners, all dishes are varied, and the cuisine
excellent. We dined in taverns in the village of Litohoro. The hotel also has
main buffet restaurant, a la carte restaurants
menu system.
We booked a room near the sea, the design is thought out, the furniture is good,
cleaning was every day.
The Internet is free here, it catches almost everywhere, except for the most remote
corners of the hotel.
There are many sports activities on the territory, for example, football, volleyball,
tennis - in general, there was always something to do. Several outdoor pools
fresh water, nearby relaxation areas with sunbeds, free, open
small bar.
The beach at the hotel has its own, with a gentle approach, sometimes it can be found at the entrance
small pebble. There is a bar near the beach. Free sunbeds and umbrellas, towels
too, but you need to leave a deposit.
Spa center can only be used by adults, for children under 15 it seems the entrance
closed. They provide a different range of services, an excellent sauna and hammam, there
hydro and aromatherapy, chocolate therapy, all beauty services, as well as
the best plastic surgeon in all of Greece we were told.
There are also all services for children: a babysitter, a kids club, and, in principle, a hotel
quiet for families with children. Daily animation, live music.
Nearby there is a bus stop from which you can go to
Thessaloniki or other villages.
Overall, my husband and I are happy with our stay, our choice of hotel and a must
we'll be back here again!
The following week, we lost two bath towels from the room set. This was discovered when the maid changed the linen, because. she left after cleaning only one towel instead of three and stated that two towels were missing in the room. After litigation with the head maid and the administrator, we again made up for the stolen towels.
And, on the penultimate night of our vacation, after returning to the room at 00.30, we found the balcony door to the room open and hanging on one hinge. Things were scattered on the bed and we did not find our laptop.
In the morning I met the hotel manager and asked if he knew what had happened at night and what we should do next. To which he said that without a protocol from the police, he was not going to talk to me and did not even apologize.
I approached the representative of Mouzenidis Travel at Olga's hotel. She was not aware of what had happened and at first even spoke harshly to us, referring to stories that after allegations of theft, the children then sit in the hotel lobby with supposedly “stolen” tablets. I asked her to come with me to the police and also to take the hotel manager, who was with us at night, with her.
The administrator Dmitry told us that the hotel manager would not let him go. Outraged by the behavior of the manager, I came to his office. During the conversation, he said that he had contacted the police and now he is completely sure that his hotel is not responsible for the belongings of the residents. I told him that we were not satisfied with the level of service of the hotel and we had doubts about the availability of a 5 star hotel. When asked to provide documents on the presence of 5 stars at the hotel, the manager admitted that in 2013 the hotel had 4 stars and only in 2014 he applied for 5 stars. The manager could not confirm his words with documents, citing the fact that there were no papers in the office. On the basis of which we concluded that Mouzenidis Travel independently rated the hotel as 5 stars. The actual level of the hotel is average 4.
At the end of the conversation, the manager agreed to let the administrator go to the police and offered as compensation free accommodation in a room with a pool for two days, but we had previously told him that our charter plane was leaving tomorrow morning and such an offer would not compensate us anything.
At the police station, a report was drawn up for us, but it was possible to receive it in our hands only after 4 days. I asked Olga from Mouzenidis Travel to send it to my email address, but I am still waiting for the letter.
The whole day the administration assured us that our bungalow was visible in the surveillance cameras and everything was being recorded. In the evening, we realized that this was another lie, and insisted on viewing the camera. Of course, there was no recording and we were shown only a few hazy views from the cameras at the bar and the beach.
After returning to Minsk, we wrote a letter to Mouzenidis Travel demanding compensation for the damage caused and received an answer that there was no liability of the tour operator and they did not see legal grounds for payments.
Unfortunately, the stolen computer contained work data and photos from our vacations, which can no longer be recovered. Vacation experience was completely ruined.
Children's animation turned out to be stupid. Thanks to the girls-animators - they tried their best. But they complained very much that the hotel did not have a program and they were not provided with applied materials, so there was nothing to occupy the children with, except for their own enthusiasm.
The Internet is free, but it is impossible to use it, only in the morning you can talk on Skype. There is always one answer to the reception - yesterday everything was fine, we will call the master.
The food was delicious, but the choice of food is very modest for the declared 5 stars.
There are no theme nights, they offer to go to a nearby hotel and still pay for it.
There is nothing around the hotel, and therefore I had to rent a car and organize the rest on my own.
Accommodation: We arrived in the evening - they were waiting for us so that we could have dinner, they left the restaurant open. The rooms are small. Unpleasantly surprised that the third place for the child was a banal folding bed. For a 5* this is definitely unacceptable. They asked the tour operator to resolve the issue, so that they would give at least a full-fledged duvet cover with a blanket for the third place - they agreed, but did not give it. Upon arrival, a bottle of wine was waiting for us at the dressing table - free of charge.
Food: good, even monotonous, but everything is tasty and edible. Fruits: oranges, apples, bananas, grapefruits, kiwi, apricots, peaches, cherries, watermelons and melons appeared at the end. All freshly prepared. Freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning. The bars worked strangely - until 6 pm, only the central one until 11. On the beach, the bar continued to work after 6, but only for a fee (even drinks). Interestingly, for ultra all inclusive, drinks are free, and cocktails from them are paid. The Greeks were served out of turn. Bars were limited to drinks and ice cream.
Beach: sand and pebbles, plenty of sun loungers. There are not enough umbrellas - there are many who want to sunbathe in the shade, but before our departure they increased their number. In general, there is not enough space not on the beach, but by the pool. The beach is clean - no complaints. For some reason, the children's pool was icy all day long - it is not clear how it was designed. The territory is well-groomed, very beautiful around. Towels at the reception - bail - 5 euros.
Animation is weak. Mini-disco for kids, aerobics, water polo, volleyball - and then for the last 2 they organized themselves. I really liked the performance of groups on Fridays and Sundays - live sound. For football fans at the World Cup organized a projector in the lobby. It was possible to take tennis rackets for free - on the territory of 2 courts.
SPA center - I recommend to go in the first 3 days of arrival. Buy a scrub first. The procedure includes a sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi with hydromassage. Paid gym, although it's free on the website. In order to still be free - take the annex to the contract - it helps without question. In general, apparently, you should always ask for a transcript from a travel agency, which is recommended as a paid procedure, and which is free.
Near the territory of 1 shop. Although, I must admit, it is very interesting - food, drinks, household chemicals, and souvenirs. The prices are normal. Who loves p / dry-p / sweet wines - try apelia black - 1.5 liters - 5.6 euros.
Where to go: Meteora is just magical. We also went to Edessa and Oridea - to the thermal springs. From this hotel these trips are stress-free - 2 hours drive. Who wants to go to Olympus - take warm clothes with you - 9 degrees.
I do not advise you to go to Katerini - there is no shopping there, and a taxi costs 20 euros one way. They say that many go shopping in Thessaloniki, it's cheaper there. The Greeks work in their own way - from 2 to 5 they have a break. It is necessary to go in such a way that you will return before or after this time, otherwise everything will be closed.
Also on the topic - on the second day after arrival, we had an accident - in a restaurant where there is a stand with drinks and a coffee machine, a side stand (15-20 kg) fell on my leg. It is not fixed by anything and falls with a frequency of a couple of times a day. My leg was torn because I didn't see her fall. She asked for a doctor. The cost of calling a doctor fell on my insurance?? ? In the evening they brought a plate of fruit and an apology to the room. The stand has not yet been fixed. There's just something to do - put a latch. I ask you to pay attention to this as vacationers - if such a colossus falls on a child, they may read it in the hotel and remove this issue.
And the last thing about the tour operator. All girls are great. We met perfectly, spent, but unfortunately did not eliminate any remarks about the hotel at all. Interestingly, excursion trips for Europeans were cheaper - 60 euros for us Meteora, 49 for Europeans. We signed up for the first trip and paid for it 2 days before it, but in the end they forgot to bring us in and the driver tried to kick us out of the bus in a rather rude manner. The problem was not solved by finding a seat on another bus, but stood in a stupor and waited for the problem to be solved by itself. It was terribly unpleasant, spoiled the mood "Room number get off the bus. " They were not interested that the documents were in our hands, everything was paid for, that the date was a day earlier than most of the bus, that this was not the only trip we went on, so it was important for us to get there this time in order to have time to go somewhere else anything. That it was they who filled the bus after our recording, whether they made it or not. It wasn't their problem.
In a word, there were no incidents. But we liked the Hotel - quiet and calm, clean and tidy. The rooms are cozy (especially for two). The food is delicious. The sea is wonderful. The beauty around is indescribable, which washed away all negative emotions and left only a pleasant memory of the thunder and lightning of Zeus over Mount Olympus, the clear water of the Aegean Sea, the holy road straight to Meteor paradise, the hot thermal springs of Oridea and 2 weeks of excellent rest in Greece.

1. Acquaintance with the hotel "Dion Palace Bomo Club 5 *" happened in an advertising and information tour of Greece.
2. Location: 7 km from the resort village of Litohoro, 10 km from the village of Leptokarya, 110 km from Thessaloniki.
3. Territory: large enough, green.
4. Rooms - 192 rooms: doubles, triples, bungalows, villas.
The rooms have air conditioning, refrigerator, tea / coffee making facilities, telephone, satellite TV, safe (free of charge), telephone, bath, bath accessories, hair dryer. Possible placement: 2.2+1.2+2. View from the rooms: the sea or the mountains.
5. Meals: "ultra all inclusive". Main restaurant with spacious veranda, a la carte restaurant, tavern, bar, pool bar, beach bar, spa cafe.

Summary: 4 on a five-point scale. Rather, for lovers of family holidays, in which it is not planned to travel outside the hotel.
Location. The sea is literally 150-200 meters (1st line). On the other hand, the stunning Mount Olympus rises, striking in the beauty of its snowy peaks.
The hotel area is quite large: 2 tennis courts (free of charge), 3 fresh pools (sunbeds and umbrellas both by the pools and by the sea are free), green lawns, 2 pool bars.
SPA. Affordable prices + the first visit to the spa center (sauna, hammam, swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi) is free.
Liked the food. For 7 days she did not bother us. Of course, some dishes were repeated, but at the same time they always cooked something new. Separately, vegetables were cut, a lot of various greens. Fruits were also included for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very tasty local Greek desserts served for lunch and dinner.
The rooms are clean, bright and comfortable.
Cleaning was done daily. There were problems with the TV upon arrival, but they were immediately resolved.
Infrastructure. Near the hotel there is a shop where you can buy something tasty, as well as items of the 1st necessities. Literally in 200-300 meters there are 2 Greek taverns. They cook delicious seafood there.
