Rested in July 2013 at the Grecotel Olympian Oasis in the Peloponnese. It is difficult to convey my delight in words, the place where we rest is fabulous. The air is filled with aromas of eucalyptus, juniper, what flowers that are unknown to me.

As for the hotel. Probably, this is of interest to many in the first place, even more than the sea. For our, with my husband, unspoiled and not fastidious taste, the hotel is wonderful! The ceilings are very high (5-6 meters, if not higher), everything is as described in the room. Philips TV is not flat screen (if it matters to anyone), 2 Russian channels: planet and first. When the child sleeps we watch 2 most beautiful channels during the day - fashion and advertising of Greek hotels; -). The floor is made of tiles, in principle, warm, so slippers will not be superfluous, especially for women and children. Cleaning every day, towels every day, bed linen changed every 3 days.


We went to the sea with great pleasure, the water is warm, the beach is magnificent, sandy.
The Ionian Sea is the cleanest at any time of the day, very beautiful, no algae. There are very few shells, almost none. We saw small fish. Very beautiful. By the way, the water is vigorous, saltier than on the Black Sea, definitely! For children there is a kids club, which has 2 Russian animators Alexey and Evgenia. Very friendly. My daughter really liked the club, she even forgot about the slides. When children are happy, I think (whoever has, I understand), we parents are also happy. The area is very beautiful and clean. Everything in the tiles on the street is clean, as there are showers or taps everywhere on the territory to wash your feet from the sand from the beach. The pools are excellent, but we took the child only to the one with slides, after which, the daughter generally forgot that we actually came to the sea.

There is a shop at the hotel with all sorts of little things and souvenirs. There is a jewelry store, there are unusual little things, everything that I liked is very expensive (2-4-6 thousand rubles).
euro - 30% discount). But it's best not to spare your time and go to Athens - there are jewelry stores there: there are more choices than in a hotel and much cheaper. You can get to Athens with a guided tour, which you can take from the representatives of your company at the hotel.

Nutrition. The food is beyond praise, they really feed to the slaughter, I started to get fat J As much as I want to try everything for a little, in the end: overload, you have to control yourself and not be greedy)) Varied, tasty. It tastes better with chefs who cook in front of you. Pilaf with seafood, young wine in any quantity in bottles, beer, a lot of vegetables and fruits, a lot of different types of cheeses, and feta is not at all the same as ours, in other things, like olives with black olives, everything is much tastier! A lot of very sweets for every taste, ice cream blockages of 5 types - in any quantity during the day.

Nearby, probably, at 400-500 m there is therapeutic mud, they help those with skin problems and joint pains, there is also thermal water. The smell of hydrogen sulfide, but you quickly get used to it and then do not feel much. Apply mud for 20 minutes, then rinse with thermal water. It's all free and you can come at any time. As for excursions, we have chosen only two: excursions to Zakynthos (visible from the Peloponnese! ). We saw the turtles that live there, sunbathed on the amazing beach of Novaio, there are a lot of positive impressions. And we chose another excursion to Nafpaktos. On the way, we passed the Rio-Antirio bridge, which is considered the longest cable-stayed bridge in Europe. Here we visited two monasteries dedicated to Augustine and Seraphim of Sarov.
It is in this monastery that the largest bell tower in all of Greece with 400 bells and 62 bells is located, but what really struck us was how warmly and generously we were greeted with the ringing of bells and treated to coffee. The trip is tireless, be sure to visit this Orthodox place!
