Traveled as a couple in July 2017. Huge green area of the hotel. Great views, sunset. The food is excellent (a variety of meats, fruits, cheeses). Service is good, staff is very helpful. The hotel is certainly not new, there are minor flaws like cracked varnish on a wooden door, but this can be overcome. Nature made up for everything. Room cleaning for 4+. Of the minor troubles: large stones and sea urchins at the bottom of the sea, so be sure to take swimming shoes + jellyfish were "visiting" for a couple of days. Therefore, they swam in the pools for several days.
There is virtually no entertainment and animators, the hotel is far from the village of Loutraki, so the rest was calm.
Overall, we were satisfied with our stay/hotel.
Food - disgusting breakfasts, mediocre dinners, all drinks in the evening for money (tea - 2.5 euros, juice - 6 euros).
In many bungalows, air conditioners practically do not work, check immediately (i. e. they blow, but do not cool, probably the refrigerant was changed 5 years ago).
The sea is clean, I have never seen anything like it.
The spa at the hotel is insanely expensive (50 euros for 0.5 hours of massage) + day off 3 days a week (why even work). We found an excellent masseuse, our former one, the name is Olya, 1.5 hours of excellent massage - 35 euros (+306974890479). Comes directly to the hotel with his massage couch.
The hotel has a type of mini market, but there is practically nothing in it, no juices, no fruits, nothing. By the way, you can drink water from the tap.
You need to take a taxi to Loutrak (7 euros there and 5 back). You can’t walk on foot, although it’s not that far, just the whole road along the highway without a sidewalk, and the Greeks drive quite aggressively. In Loutraki, there are fruit stalls along the streets, fruits are good and cheap. Loutraki also has a spa complex with radon waters and massage treatments. There are only pensioners in the radon pools, massages are not expensive, but you need to sign up 5 days in advance.
There is no beach service. Towels are put in the room. There are no mattresses on the sunbeds. There is no animation. The pool with sea water, it has a small springboard, this is the only entertainment for the kids. The hotel has 95% of Russians and Ukrainians. There are no problems with places near the pool and the sea. The water in the sea is of amazing beauty - emerald. We swam a lot and with pleasure. There is a mini-club, children go there. The entrance to the sea is either from the stairs, or simply. There is a slight breeze blowing all the time, which softens the heat. On weekends, the Greeks come, noisy and not very tactful. Free WI-FI only in the bar from 11.00 to 18.00. There is no computer room. I was looking for a SPA, climbed to the top - it does not work. There is no advertising and information on the SPA. The food is normal, 4 types of meat, lamb every day. Of the fruits, there were only watermelons and cut peaches. There is a lot of cream in desserts, the choice is small. The rooms have a TV with a Russian channel. In the reviews it was that you can walk to Loutrak, but this is a roadway, all the time lit by the sun. It's hot and there are cars all the time. We went by taxi for 5 euros (with a call 7 euros). During the day, shops are closed from 14.30 -18.00 - siesta, but the grocery SPAK is open. I got the impression that this is a former 5 * hotel, and now it saves a lot on everything. I don’t know what kind of service in hotels on the islands, I haven’t been, but if you think about excursions, then 2 weeks in this hotel is a lot, 10 days are enough. Since it’s expensive. I hope that I helped someone with the choice.
I went with my husband on a honeymoon, August turned out to be the most expensive month of the season.
They expected just good nature and Greek flavor, since the hotel, although they say it doesn’t pull 5, is also not 5 for the price of the tour, so comparing prices in Greece by 5, this hotel is just wonderful. Having previously read that this is not 5 and all that, and looking at what the reviews really called Five Stars, I was already horrified, the price for Their fives was 2 times more! So decide for yourself !!!
We also visited the Loutraki Casino Hotel, which is 2 times more expensive, but I want to say that those who live there envied US. Firstly, a huge area with a variety of beaches in Poseidon, and not a piece of the city beach fenced off from the road, and the amount of vegetation and gorgeous nature are absent in the so-called Super Fives.
They put us in an excellent room on the first line with a view of the sea, just Paradise. Well, we have already thought about it. that even if we are fed badly, we will not be disappointed, since the beauty of the hotel and the accommodation will definitely compensate for EVERYTHING !!!
Dinner struck me too - on the very first day we got to a barbecue evening, where about seven meat dishes were fried on skewers, the main thing in the program was Milk Pork, pieces of which, of our choice, fell on our plate! not a stoit, it’s just that everything is in a huge assortment and quantity, which is nice, All food suits our stomach, so everything is fine with this, we both got better!
By the way, eaten in the morning and a little fruit with you is enough until dinner!
Everything on the territory of the hotel is really expensive, well, here it’s either to chic or to spin, we combined.
Note: Amstel beer at the hotel 5 euros, and at the supermarket in Loutraki 0.85 euros, so the markup is crazy.
Upon arrival, we went to the lounge bar that hangs over the mountain right above the amphitheater. We drank juice (not fresh. 2 glasses-17 EURO, how do you like it?
We didn’t go there anymore, even though the view there is like from the Swallow’s Nest!
The water is just crystal clear and despite the reviews about the beach. I will say that they are excellent for every taste and sand, and pebbles, and pris going into the sea !!!
Be sure to take slippers for swimming, or you will have to buy there. to without nah, there are just a lot of sea urchins, they sit on pebbles, so come on. easily.
Be sure to take a mask with a pipe, the bottom of extraordinary beauty, I was especially struck by the fact that the beaches are wild in terms of living creatures, fish of all colors and shades from tiny luminous to large flocks, and the colors and black and red are just super. My husband and I dived constantly, without a mask we didn’t swim at all, it’s not interesting !!!
We dived and found an octopus, tried to dive in and touch it, but it turned black from this, apparently it was not happy!
The water is so clear that you swim already insanely far, and there is a bright blue of water around. You get lost, it just doesn’t look like water, just a very rich blue color.
In short, unrealistically good.
We were in Athens, bought a fur coat, bargain at prices, we bargained that we were thrown off half the price !!!
Be sure to visit the Acropolis, an unreal sight, this is worth seeing, otherwise you will regret it!
Our companions on excursions living in Athens at the hotel spat that they didn’t go immediately to Loutrik, because they were told that it’s better to watch excursions from Athens, like close to everything, but it wasn’t there that all the excursions, except for the Acropolis, pass for Russians in Loutraki, so they got up 2 hours earlier, came for us on excursions, because the direction is the same, and the guides to Athens and Loutraki are common !!! , So they were in Athens for 4 days and then went to Loutraki! Like this
From Loutrak the closest to all significant places!!!
ABOUT THE CITY OF LUTRAKI - a nice, small, clean town, an excellent promenade full of taverns, we really liked the city, we described it as Glamorous!
It’s 5 euros from the hotel, but we often walked, especially after dinner, for 30 minutes really, with a relaxed gait! them for a call by phone 1.8 euros throw
There is such a joke as a FIESTA in the shops from 2 to 4, everything is closed, so don’t even poke your head into the city if you are shopping! And the cafes are all working. And all shops close at 7, maximum at 8 pm.
It seems to have told a lot, but of course not everything, so if you have questions, write!
