In short, he really doesn’t like it when you rent a car past him or don’t spend money at his bar, the attitude towards you will change immediately, I also didn’t like it during breakfast, he starts screaming at the poor girl from the servants in the canteen, we watched this for several days picture, about the sea and bags, bags are certainly good, but it’s knee-deep, I advise you not to worry right away - go to the left of 100 meters, a good sandy beach and entry into the sea. The hotel is located in a field, there are only lizards around, if you are not on wheels, I advise you to go to 5-ki, animators perform there every evening, like a show, well, you can enjoy free drinks. From entertainment in the hotel - only you and your ingenuity. Regarding excursions, we rented a scooter for 40 euros for 3 days + 10 euros for each subsequent day. On the way to Kos, we visited a Venetian castle, the ruins of the castle are located on the very top of the mountain, on the way to the castle, somewhere halfway along the way, we saw an abandoned church with frescoes on the walls (see photo) very impressive, Mr. Kos is a pretty town with a promenade, a port, ruins, columns and an amphitheater, a ferry goes to Bodrum 8 euros in both directions, there are Thermae not far from Kos, I advise you to visit, we went 2 times every other day. in general, the island is very small, you won’t have time to accelerate on a scooter - how the island ended. If you go to the terms, take carrots with you - there is a racket in the form of a small donkey at the entrance. we visited Zia several times, there are a lot of souvenirs, the sellers are mostly our compatriots, ask them how best to get to the church of paradise located on the very top of the mountain and what days the Greek evening is held, the cost is 25 euros, including food and Greek dances, for guides it costs 50. we also went to Plaka, an ordinary forest reserve, many peacocks live there in the wild and even more cats have fed with them, you will be advised to take whiskas with you, don’t take it, don’t feed these parasite cats. when descending to a clearing with peacocks, we got caught in the rain and decided to hide in a grotto, upon closer inspection we found troglodyte caves (see photo), one-room and two, there are a lot of them, the whole mountain is pitted, it is strange that tourists are not taken there. From excursions, I advise you to go to the island of Nisyros, there is a volcano and a church in a cave on the mountain, pilgrims flock there to the icon of paradise supposedly heals from infertility. it is very easy to get to the island, go to the port of Kardamena by 9.30 in the morning, boats leave for the island of Nisyros, we agreed on 10 euros per person. in both directions, on the island right in the port there is a car and scooter rental, we took a scooter for 10 euros and traveled half the island, visited two villages, very picturesque and a volcano, I won’t write anything about the volcano admit that the island of Kos is beautiful, but it cannot be compared with Nisyros, souvenirs on Nisyros are cheaper than on Kos. In general, the rest was a success, the island is very beautiful, the sea, although cool, but clean. Yes, I almost forgot for bikers - I found a shop in Kos, the Chinese sell it, a helmet covered with leatherette, with two stripes - 5 euros !! ! closed type - 10 euros.
