At your own risk, we decided to relax in Corfu in October, a risky undertaking of course (although in Greece we always rest in October, the weather is wonderful, the sea is warmest). We bought a ticket at the Gemma travel agency on Profsoyuznaya. We have been using the services of this company for 5 years now, everything is clear, they have never let us down with the execution of documents for a visa.
Labyrinth operator, reliable guys...... carrier - Aegean Airlines, excellent brand new Boeing -737 aircraft, flew without delay, strictly on schedule.
Arrived, met, resettled, everything was done quickly and worked out. Now about the hotel...... We booked a family room with two bedrooms, settled in room 406 with a sea view. The rooms are small, but cozy, everything is clean, modern plumbing, there were no complaints about the room. Changed clothes and went to a restaurant for dinner, because. the flight was in the evening. We didn’t really like the food at the hotel, we are not picky, but after visiting 2 hotels of the Mitsis chain (in Crete - Mitsis Serita, in Rhodes - Mitsis Rodos Village), to be honest, we were disappointed........ especially dinners......

The staff at the hotel is extremely lazy, which is completely uncharacteristic of the hotels of the grandfather of Mitsis, it was written on their face - "We are tired of you....". Everyone seems to be friendly, but there is no sense of the atmosphere of hospitality inherent in the hotels of the Mitsis chain.
The hotel area is just wonderful, green, with lots of trees, shrubs, flowers..... There are places to walk. It takes 7-10 minutes to walk along the beach to the village of Roda, a pretty village with many taverns, shops and car, scooter and bicycle rentals. We really liked Pirate's bar, so stylish, with good European service (Wifi is free, they will give you a password to enter). By the way, at the hotel Wifi at the reception is paid (in my opinion, 2 E for half an hour), somehow this is wrong.....
There were no complaints about the work of the reception, a couple of times they asked something from them (we speak decent English, so there are no problems with understanding). But on the last day they upset us very much, they came up to find out about the cake for my son's birthday, they said that they would do everything, they wrote down when and to whom to bring it. And so we sit and wait like idiots...... (the sons wanted to make a surprise, they turned 16 and didn’t say anything naturally), they didn’t wait, I wanted to come up and express my phi, but they didn’t spoil their mood.
Rented a car from the host, 120 E with full insurance for three for. We traveled the whole island, it's just wonderful, like a fairy tale, that's where to live in old age.....
We didn’t take excursions from the host, there’s no point, you can visit everything yourself if you take a car.
The beach at the hotel is excellent, wide enough sandy, with a bunch of sun loungers... the entrance to the sea is good, the sea is amazing, in October and 23-24 degrees.
I liked the rest, everything was wonderful, I would like to return to the island, but I would have chosen a different hotel.
