In early September, my husband and I were vacationing in Greece on the island of Kerkyra. We chose the best hotel - Kontokali Bay resort & Spa. We arrived early in the morning, check in at the hotel as always from 14.00, but we had to wait literally 15 minutes and we were given room cards.
Breakfasts and dinners are served at the Horizon Restaurant in the main building of the hotel. A fairly varied buffet, there is plenty to choose from and feed the children (there is a table with children's dishes). Several times we postponed dinner for lunch at the Akti tavern, which is located on the beach, where you can also dine just for an additional fee. On the last evening, we had dinner at Ala Carte restaurant Asterias (we moved dinner at the main restaurant to dinner at Ala Carte, and they gave us a discount). It is necessary to reserve a table at the reception in advance, where you can also see the menu. Delicious Mediterranean cuisine and excellent red wine. Once we accidentally went to the Rula fish tavern, which is located within walking distance from the hotel, and were pleasantly surprised - the seemingly inconspicuous building turned out to be a great place where everything is very tasty and fresh.
There is a spa center on site. Sauna, jacuzzi, hammam and gym are available free of charge, other treatments by appointment and at an additional cost. 2 times I went to free aqua aerobics, which also took place in the spa (Tuesday and Thursday around 11 am). At this time, my husband did not get bored - he played beach volleyball. Sunbathing and swimming on the beaches of the hotel is a pleasure! Umbrellas, sunbeds, towels are provided free of charge, the beaches are very clean, the entrance is gentle, everything is suitable for a perfect holiday! In the evenings, they played the piano in the hotel lobby, you feel very relaxed and comfortable, sitting on the sofa with a glass of wine and enjoying live music. Only the best impressions remained from the hotel and in general from the rest, I think we will return here more than once!
