We stayed at this hotel as part of a promotional tour in the fall of 2014. The hotel is located on a hill, the views are breathtaking, Mouse Island, Blachernae Church, the airstrip. . . probably the shortest in the world. Whether you are lying on the beach or walking around the Blachernae Church, and above you, in the literal sense, planes are taking off and landing, the sight is not for the faint of heart. True, the next day you get used to it and do not pay attention.
The hotel itself used to be a PALACE, now, of course, it needs a complete renovation, in the rooms there is a carpet that smells of cigarette smoke that does not disappear, we changed three rooms, but we realized that this was useless, it was the same everywhere. Our room overlooked the runway, it's good that there are already few flights in the fall, the sound is impressive.
The territory of the hotel is cascading, a lot of old trees, green lawns on which there are sunbeds, you can move after the sun, the view of the sea is excellent. We went down to the beach by elevator, it’s convenient, the beach itself is pebbly, stretched along the hotel in a narrow strip, the entry into the sea is normal, you can from the shore, you can from the pier. The bottom in this place is sometimes muddy, this is due to bulk barriers, breakwaters in the sea, which impede the flow, the water stagnates. We swam from the pontoon, the water is clear there.
Walking along the beach, you can visit the Blachernae Church, but in this case, take clothes, entry in a bathing suit is prohibited.
The food in the restaurant is good, the choice of dishes is not as varied as in Turkey, but everything is delicious.
This hotel is mainly for Europeans, suitable for various categories of tourists, you can with children, for a relaxing holiday.

Summary: 5 on a five-point scale. Good 5 stars. Rather for people with children from 10 years old (the hotel itself has little entertainment for guests under the age of 10-12 years).
The neighbors in the room air conditioner flowed into the closet all night and flooded all the clothes, other friends did not have a balcony door and there was no bathroom - only a hole in the floor. Personally, our drain did not work well until it was cleaned. The remote control from the TV is all rewound with electrical tape and still does not work.
The only thing was that there were no complaints about the cleaning lady - she cleaned, washed, and cleaned very well as she could.
Separately, I would like to note the work of the restaurant. The food is all the same. A huge number of seasonings that not everyone can tolerate. Fish and meat overcooked and overdried. It is impossible to eat fruits other than apples and watermelons. Peaches are hard like apples. The same kiwi and plums. Grapes in a five-star hotel were not given even once (this is in September that month). For olive oil, you had to run around the restaurant and ask the waiters - there is no oil on the common table. Salt is across one table. There were also problems with cutlery.
In general, in a word, this hotel is not worth the money that is asked for it. Changing the number is a real problem.
And one more touch. Arriving in Greece, I managed to... get sick. This is the sea where, on the contrary, they go for treatment. And I'm not the only one. A good half of the hotel also caught a cold like me. You can draw the conclusion yourself.
The only thing that made me happy was the sea. Warm, calm (until lunch).
The hotel has almost no territory, as it is located on a cliff. And that's why evening walks are a big problem. Nowhere to walk. There are no footpaths. It is necessary to go along a dark road where cars drive. And in general, having traveled around the island, we concluded that it was all built this way. Hotels have been built in the villages, which operate in the summer and thus provide employment to the local population. Buses run, but until a certain time. Therefore, without the presence of a car, it is difficult to get anywhere. For some it doesn't matter, for others it does. Well, this is just as an addition and has an indirect relation to the hotel.
That's how we rested in Corfu. Return there desire, alas, no.
