Hello from Greece with a mink coat
We returned from Greece just before the new year, so there was no time to write right away, you know. But everyone got gifts under the Christmas tree. Of course, 2 days in Thessaloniki pleased immensely. We rented a car with my husband and went to the largest shopping center "Cosmos". It's just eye-opening. It seems to me that it is simply unrealistic to get around it in a day. But the essence of the review is still not the point.
Although I will say a few words: it is better to buy clothes in large shopping centers. There are many brands out there and the prices are more reasonable. Discounts just started in Greece, and managed to buy a lot at ridiculous prices.
Now about the main thing. I went on tour for a fur coat. Tanechka from the office of Dnepropetrovsk persuaded me to take a tour under obligation. It seems to be cheaper that way. In general, it turned out that I bought a tour for 1 euro, and my husband for 330 for 4 nights, and 2 of them we lived in Thessaloniki. I will immediately make such a reservation on the tour. If you go with an obligation, then you pay nothing for the tour, but you have to buy a fur coat no cheaper than 1200 euros. Therefore, we took it in such a way that my husband pays immediately for the tour, but does not buy anything, and I pay only for a fur coat. Anyway, after all, they decided to buy, so what's the point of playing it safe. And if you go on an obligation and do not buy a fur coat, you will have to pay a fine. Who needs it…
I can also add that I wanted to go on a fur coat tour since last year, but the prices without obligation were much higher. There, something like 600 euros per person came out, this year it was lower, you see for yourself.
We arrived with a Greek airline. We flew well, not shaking and not for long, only 2.5 hours from Kyiv. Convenient and inexpensive, as it turned out. Then we looked at ticket prices just to Thessaloniki with this airline. There something about 2000 UAH came out. Very acceptable. Everything went quickly at the airport. Passport control and baggage claim took no more than 20 minutes. The airport in Thessaloniki is small, I was even surprised. We were met by the driver and the arbiter right away. Ellas, of course, is a professional in her field. She told a lot on the way to Kastoria about the fur coats themselves, about the city, about how to choose. I had no idea that there could be so many nuances. The driver appears to be experienced. I can't even make the slightest comment. Aerobatics straight.
We arrived at the hotel in about 3 hours. We settled in immediately and went for dinner. We stayed at the Esperos Palace Hotel. In a nutshell, modestly, but tastefully. The staff is polite, the food is delicious. I will not write in detail, because I already describe a lot of everything.
The next day we went to the factories. They took us a lot, I don’t even remember how many factories we visited. I bought a fur coat at Rizos. The factory itself is not the largest, but there are a lot of fur coats, and it will be cheaper than in Avanti or Naomi. I have a black mink to the knee with a hood and a belt. Exactly what I dreamed of. I bought it for only 1300 euros. I was even surprised that it was so cheap. I thought it would take at least 2000 for such a fur coat. Yes, another important point, in the check that is issued for the airport, the amount is indicated 3 times less. This, as they explained to us, was on purpose so that it would not be necessary to declare at the customs and so that they would not ask again. And it seems that you have to pay some kind of tax if the fur coat is too expensive, but I'm not sure about that anymore.
So, I was satisfied with the purchase, and my husband is also happy that we managed my shopping in a day. The next day we went on an excursion to the thermal springs in Aridea and then we were in Thessaloniki. But this should be written separately.
P. S. pictures from different factories, it's just to show where we were.
