My husband and I rested in late May-early June 2012. An excellent hotel, a solid four, I would even put 5. There were not many people at that time, because the beginning of the season. Mostly Serbs and very few Russians. The territory is well-groomed, the pool is cleaned every evening. Cleaning daily, towels changed every 3 days. We did not take beach towels, we asked the maid (the staff speaks excellent Russian, Belarusians and Ukrainians work for them) 2 large extra ones especially for the beach. They gave it without problems. To the beach 3 minutes, it's true, in the description of the hotel is not deceived. Went there through a nearby hotel. It is not customary for the Greeks to “ring” tourists with bracelets, and the entrance to the territory of any hotel is free. You can take a look, which we did, because the weather at the beginning of the holiday was not encouraging. Sunbeds by the sea are paid, but I'm not a fan of lying on the beach, so we came purely to swim, and went to the pool to sunbathe.
The beaches are all open, you can choose absolutely anyone and relax. We left our beach far to the left and to the right. There are almost no people there and the water is much cleaner (however, during the season, it will probably be the same everywhere).

The hotel is located in a very cozy town, almost in the center. Various restaurants and the central square are within easy reach. Prices are inexpensive, comparable to prices in cafes in St. Petersburg, but the portions are larger. There are a lot of payphones, making face-card calls to Russia is very cheap. Separately, I want to stay in the kitchen. Zavtorak standard, as in most hotels. Dinners are great! Large selection of dishes, every day something new. Themed dinners were a couple of times (purely Greek dishes). The chef is the sweetest person! Very pleasant and charming, it still seemed tastier! I personally attended each dinner, approached the tables, wondered if everything was delicious. T. to.
we rested at the beginning of the season, Greek evenings were not held at the hotel (the guide told us that they start somewhere in mid-June at this hotel). If you go to the sea and go to the right (20 minutes walk), you can go to the hotel (or is it something like a public villa ... ), where night discos are held. We visited, unfortunately, only one of these, because, again, I repeat - the beginning of the season, everything was just starting to unwind, but on the trail. the day we left. This place can be recognized by the hammering music (but you can only hear it from the beach) and flashing lights)) And the Greeks told us that somewhere in half an hour drive from Chanioti there is some kind of huge disco (I didn’t remember, unfortunately, the name), where young people from all over the peninsula and tourists hang out. But we found out about it on the last day.

It was the first time in Greece, I compare only with hotels in other countries. Fans of Turkey and Egypt will be bored due to the lack of animation and All inclusive.

Yes, this all is not needed in Greece, it’s worth going there and trying traditional Greek cuisine and homemade wines in different restaurants, everything is different in different establishments, but everywhere it’s delicious! We liked the Stork restaurant, which is down the path from the main square, closer to the beach. A very pleasant waitress Alena, speaks excellent Russian, and just a kind, unsophisticated person. Partly because of her have been there many times. It was a pleasure to visit her even just to chat. In general, there is enough breakfast + dinner at the hotel, you can just eat fruit for lunch (traders come to the hotel), and there is also a supermarket on the highway (from the hotel 7 minutes somewhere at a slow pace), there is also a lot of fruit, alcohol (martini turned out to be cheaper than in the duty free of St. Petersburg), and in general a bunch of everything, a standard supermarket. In shops in the city prices are much higher! I hope my review will be useful to someone.

Have a nice holiday!
