Well, we are back from our wonderful holiday. Sunny Greece, kind, cozy and so friendly. My husband and I fell in love with this country, although I was here as a child, even with my parents, but I really got to know it only now.
We thought for a long time where it would be better for us to go, to the islands or the mainland, but we chose the Halkidiki peninsula, the Kassandra region, or, as the Greeks themselves say, the first finger. When choosing a hotel, based on our desires, we were advised the Sani Resort hotel, on the territory of which there are 4 hotels, we chose the Sani Club, we liked the bungalow type of rooms and its price category suited us perfectly.
Were not mistaken. This is truly a heavenly place where we truly disconnected from everyday life, work and all problems. From the airport we ordered a private transfer, we reached the hotel in about an hour. When they brought us to the barrier, they said that they would take us to the reception in the so-called club cars, because the movement of cars is prohibited on the territory of the Sani Club, which immediately pleased us. In general, the level of service deserves praise, everything is clear, prompt, and most importantly, all the staff sincerely smile and help in any questions. So, at the reception they already waited and met us, helped us check in, immediately gave information about the hotel, where it is located, what services the hotel has, there was a lot of information, so we often clarified some points : ). Our room was good, the cleaning was excellent, there was a coffee machine in the room, of course, bathrobes and slippers, and most of all I liked the pillows, I really just slept on them like on a cloud : )

The list of hotel services is huge. These are water sports and bicycles, there is archery, walks in very beautiful places around the territory, to a lake where there are turtles or to a bird-watching place, a large selection of restaurants where we could exchange our lunches or dinners, but more all my husband and I liked the ouzerie restaurant, the incomparable cuisine, accompanied by a stunning sunset, put an exclamation point in our holiday!
Initially, we did not plan trips on excursions, but our guides Anna and Tatyana advised us to go see Athens and the visiting card of Meteora, it's good that we went there. We took an individual tour, so we did not depend on the group and enjoyed this trip to the fullest. The ancient acropolis in Athens, the old town of Plaka, of course the changing of the guard at the walls of the parliament, well, the monasteries in meteors on the tops of the rocks simply conquered us. We listened to the guide Aris excitedly, could not get enough of this story, we admire the baggage of knowledge and the ability to present information in an interesting way. Thanks to him for such an interesting excursion program!
Unfortunately, our vacation was only a week, but we rested both in body and soul, body, by the way, we rested in the gym and spa of the hotel, and also rented a catamaran and fooled around a little in the sea, probably on vacation we all get a little reckless : )
Well, in the end, I would like to say that we rested in mid-August, the weather was excellent, and for ourselves we decided exactly where we would spend our next vacation : )
