Rested June 20-26.2019. We booked and paid in full on booking, the main criteria why there: firstly, the price and reviews, and secondly, because Loutra is a really remote village, and even the resort towns seem crowded to us, we wanted the absence of a large number of people and to the maximum, so to speak, touch the local flavor, if any)
The hotel really consists of two parts separated by a road. Both buildings are not fully owned by the hotel, but only small parts, so some have been renovated, while others can be seen to be in disrepair. Photos of the outside of the hotel and the garden are somewhat untrue, palm trees have been cut down in front of the main building, and in a small garden near the second building, which is closer to the sea, there is no wonderful sofa that is in the pictures, and it would not hurt to update the lawn. In general, the owner Janis would not abandon the garden, but he should invest in it properly and do landscape design in front of the main building and it will be super.
As for the interior, everything is very good and corresponds to the photos. We rented a room for 4 people in a building that is closer to the sea, overlooking the garden and the beach. The room consists of a spacious kitchen-studio with a terrace that opens onto the inner garden and a small bedroom also with a terrace that opens on the other side of the building to the road through a small courtyard. Actually, 6 people can be accommodated in the room, since the lower berth is put forward by the sofas in the studio. All closets in the bedroom, but they have plenty of space.

In the bedroom, there are ordinary lorries, pushed together, with very (! ) Comfortable mattresses, it's just the first time I've come across the fact that hotels in a low price category have such comfortable mattresses.
I really liked the style of the interior decoration of the room - firstly, it is clear that the renovation is fresh, there are no indistinct stains on the walls, the wooden doors and shutters have been restored, varnished, etc. the interior and decoration are unusual, it is clear that people tried to approach the issue creatively. It turned out pleasant non-standard rooms, in which I personally lived with great pleasure, I really liked it. Nothing superfluous and at the same time pleasant little things: bedside tables, baskets, light bulbs, paintings on the walls.
In the kitchen there is enough any utensils, a two-burner stove that works well, a kettle, a refrigerator. There was a bottle of detergent, a fresh kitchen cloth, sponges for washing. There are no questions at all.
The biggest complaints about the bathroom, which is really small, combined, with low ceilings and, it seems, not very vigorous ventilation. At first, it seemed to me that at least a curtain was needed, because while swimming, if desired, you can splash everything inside. But then I realized that it would not dry out normally, it would rot, it would dry out and nothing good would come of this idea. The main thing is that after the last person bathes, dry the floor with a mop (fortunately, there is an excellent wringer mop in the room), and this is a matter of 3 minutes, and do not close the door for some time. All the plumbing worked fine: the boiler warmed up, the toilet was flushed, the water pressure was good, nothing was leaking anywhere, there was no smell.
I can’t say for the cleaning of the premises, maybe they cleaned it, but I myself always and in all hotels after visiting the beach put the floor in order, children and sandy beaches oblige you to do this. But the garbage in the toilet and in the kitchen was taken out every day. After 3 days, we changed bed linen and towels, everything was perfectly washed, ironed and snow-white.

The manager himself, Janis, is very, very responsive, after settling in, he himself asked for our phone number with a viber, said to contact us for any question, answered instantly, speaks good English. Before Greece, we traveled around Bulgaria and we had a pile of T-shirts for washing, and although the site indicated a paid laundry service, Janis said that without any problems they would wash everything for us completely free of charge. And so it was: literally 10 minutes after we talked with him, the maid came, took our things, and returned a couple of hours later, because I said that I would hang it myself. The maids did not speak English, just a couple of words, but I myself learned a few phrases in Greek + an offline dictionary on my smartphone and all problems were solved. Moreover, when before leaving we could not find a woman who sold olives and oil from her car, but we really wanted to buy goodies, we asked Janis to help. He really tried very hard to help us, and when he could not find her, he offered us 2 bottles of his personal olive oil, which he bought from her, said that he would buy himself later. We, of course, returned their cost, were extremely grateful.
Regarding Wi-Fi, there were problems with it during the settlement, Janis immediately warned about this, but for us, the presence of Wi-Fi is not something really important, so we survived the delay with the repair and did not suffer.
What categorically did not suit us was the beach right under the hotel. Only I went there to swim, and then only with a mask. There really is not the most successful entry into the water, the beach is pebbly, there are stones in the water and, accordingly, hedgehogs. But in Loutra there is an excellent wide central beach, there is sand and depth, who want free swimming, and stones, who want to snorkel, it is 5 minutes walk from La Mer.
In general, I give the hotel 9 out of 10, because the 8 hotel exactly corresponds to the declared positions, plus a point for the excellent attitude of the owners and staff. Another would be to put the garden in order and it would be 10)
