Just returned from vacation. I hasten to share my impressions about the resort and the hotel.
ORGANIZATION Tour operator "Mauzendis". I was pleasantly surprised by the clear organization of the tour. Flights and transfers exactly at the stated time without delay. Checking into a hotel is quick and hassle-free. Nice room immediately and without a tip. Tours were not stressful. Provided the required information when contacted.
HALKIDIKI This is our first trip to Greece. Traveled with my husband. Due to their young age and the lack of direct flights, they didn’t take my two-year-old daughter, which I was very sorry about, as there were many families with small children in this hotel and all the conditions for families with children. Before that they were in Croatia, Montenegro and Turkey. We went in mid September. We were lucky with the weather: warm and sunny, air temperature around 30 C, water temperature 24-25 C. I really liked the climate: mild, comfortable, almost no acclimatization is felt. In my opinion, the climate is better than in Turkey, and the air and water temperatures in September are higher than in the Balkans. Halkidiki Kassandra is a wonderful resort area, very green, relief, with a beautiful embankment and buildings designed in the same architectural style.

SEA Very beautiful, azure blue. The entrance to the sea is sandy, gently sloping, a wide zone of shallow water. For me, the Greek sea in color, purity and temperature is a bit like the Croatian.
HOTEL I liked the hotel in general. Well-groomed, cozy, with remarkable gardening. Very quiet, even too. The staff is friendly, as everywhere there are a lot of students-trainees from Russia and Ukraine. We booked a room on the second line overlooking the pool. We were settled on the third floor and to our surprise, a beautiful view of the sea opened from the balcony of the room. Room after renovation, with a good interior. Pleased with the presence of a kettle, cups and glasses. Minus - housekeeping pulls a maximum of C grade, local staff even tips do not inspire to work better. Not to be compared with the Turkish staff, where for a dollar tip everything glitters and a figure-folded bed to boot.
Wine and fruit on the day of arrival - a surprise that failed: the wine is too simple, the fruit is not ripe. But the gifts upon departure (tea, brandy and olive soap) were a pleasant surprise.
FOOD As expected, the Greek HB is much better than the Croatian HB, but much more modest than the Turkish ALL. Breakfasts are almost always with a standard set of dishes, I was pleased with the presence of a large assortment of elite tea that you can choose and brew in a teapot and orange juice. In the evening the menu is much more interesting. For a week of rest, we got to Italian cuisine, Japanese cuisine and a fish day. If desired, it was possible to visit the Greek evening instead of dinner, but for an additional fee. At dinner, the quality and variety of dishes is excellent. The big minus are paid drinks.
We usually dined at the POSEIDON bistro on site. Dinner for two cost about 15 euros. The quality and range of food is acceptable. We visited the a la carte restaurant on the waterfront. The prices are high, the food is not impressive.
ANIMATION Practically absent.

As a mother of a two-year-old daughter, she learned everything about staying in this hotel with children. Children's animation is declared from 4 years old. Since families with preschoolers mostly rested in September, children's animation was canceled altogether. There are two playgrounds, both miniature, one on the second line is not working. Children's pools with sea water are available. Children's chairs are available in restaurants. Baby cots are available upon request.
There is daily sports animation according to the schedule, but in practice it was almost never carried out. For example, a fitness trainer regularly came to the lawn with a couple of rugs, although there were either no people who wanted to work out at all or 1-2 people came. This did not upset the coach, she, like other animators, did not engage in active campaigning and attracting clients. My husband was especially upset by the state of the gym. The set of simulators is minimal, some are not in working order. Water attractions without a motor such as kayaks and catamarans for an additional fee. For example, a kayak costs 10 euros per hour, provided that you can find a responsible employee. For comparison, in Turkey all this is freely available and free of charge.
During the week of our stay, there were no evening entertainment events, with the exception of the Greek evening for an additional fee.
In general, in terms of animation, Greece is still very, very far from Turkey.
SUMMARY Rest liked. There is a desire to come to Greece again and always with my daughter.
