Once again we were on vacation in Greece. This time at the beginning of July at the Potidea Palace Hotel. We liked the hotel, we got what we expected. Convenient location, near the airport of Thessaloniki, near the most picturesque isthmus, marina, 5 km from the small resort town of Nea Moudania, where you can take a walk in the evening. Upon arrival at the airport, we were met and warmly greeted in sunny Greece and taken to the hotel in 40-50 minutes, that is, we didn’t drive for long. Here our hotel guide Svetlana was already waiting for us at the entrance, invited us to a welcoming meeting, helped with resettlement, in general, we immediately felt Greek hospitality. We were quickly settled, helped with luggage. The territory of the hotel is beautiful, well-groomed, very green and has many different entertainments, such as mini-club, big chess, pool bar, Anatolia bar, main bar, main restaurant, a la carte restaurant, SPA center, etc. . Our room was good, two-room Family deluxe with a balcony, satellite TV, telephone, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, bath accessories, safe, mini-bar, bathrobes with slippers - there was everything you need for a comfortable stay. The food is good, not to say wow, but quite decent. A large selection of dishes and desserts, excellent service, the children had something to eat, which is important. In bars until 23 o'clock you can use the services "all inclusive", and after already for an additional fee. Animation in the hotel is good, fun. In the evening there is a mini disco for children, and during the day there is animation by the pool and various activities in the kids club. Ten minutes from the hotel there is a small resort town of Nea Moudania, where you can dine in a good fish tavern, eat ice cream on the waterfront, buy souvenirs and just walk around the city. The second largest city in Greece, Thessaloniki, is 85 km away. A beautiful city with ancient history, many museums, temples, shops, patisseries and other things to do in the city. We went here with a sightseeing tour, thanks a lot to the guide Vasily - a professional in his field! We also visited Barigorod in southern Italy, where the relics of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker have been kept since the 11th century. There, only for us, a liturgy was held in Russian, communion and confession. After this trip, we went inspired for another week, we liked everything very much! At first they were afraid to go with children, they thought that it would be hard, but everything went well, the child was tired, of course, but he was also satisfied. We have only positive impressions from the trip, the hotel will meet all your expectations, do not hesitate!
