Here I sit and think how to tell. . . I’ll start right away with a summary: I left without sobbing. Disappointed country. Pale, untidy, lazy. They are trying to scrape together sights, but everything is destroyed - there is nothing to look at except Meteora, and they will soon fall apart (out of 24, in my opinion, 6) with the unwillingness of the Greeks to work and look after their country. Hotel - havay. Before leaving, I looked at the site, everything is so wonderfully filmed, combed, painted. I didn't even believe the negative reviews. Arrived - in Sochi it was cooler in Soviet times. The hotel is, however, like a Soviet sanatorium that has fallen into disrepair. Plumbing, furniture, TV, telephone - like antiques from the 80s. We lived in a bungalow, but before checking in we were given a room in a multi-storey building for 30 minutes - to put ourselves in order. Even in the room I was stunned by the squalor, but in the bungalow I generally wilted. I'm not picky, but that's overkill. The territory is untidy, the leaves are lying around, the lawns are faded, stray dogs are staggering (I’m not against living creatures, but in this version it’s unpleasant, they pee on the beach and cling to people, unsanitary conditions), they beg for food, steal shoes and gnaw on the beach at night. Cleaned up in rooms. . . lazily. True, every day, but I never wanted to leave a tip. The bed will be made (not changed, but simply made), and the clothes will be piled on the table. The bathroom is not washed. Unless the towels are changed, and thanks for that. Consumables do not change, they add multi-colored smelly slurry, you wash yourself with such shampoos - your hair falls out. It's better not to risk it. The beaches are dirty, the sun beds are disgusting to lie down, faded and sagging, the umbrellas are also shabby, they are already 150 years old. Everything is so stinky, stale, used, stale. Food is a separate issue. Was half board. Breakfast - boiled egg, fried egg, scrambled eggs, steamed egg and who knows what else. Bacon. A common joke a week later: "Do you want me to guess what's for breakfast today? " In short, I will not eat eggs for a long time. Or maybe never. Coffee - flashy liquid, cold, served by the waiter (no other way, I tried to pour from a thermos myself - the attempt was cut off) with such an expression on his face that I got sick of drinking. Dinner - it is necessary to pay tribute, richer. They salt beyond the limit - on purpose, so that later they buy water (drinks are paid for dinner). The water is golden. Wine at dinner - even more golden. No fruit! ! They either do not grow there - or immediately go for export. There is a queue for watermelon, and peaches are inedible - green and crunchy. The waiters - with neo-waiter aplomb, barely walk. Change is not brought for hours, people get tired of waiting - they leave, of course, leaving a tip. This is a waiter's tactic, everything is thought out, essno. In short, I cannot say that this is the worst hotel in Greece: I have the impression that this is a TYPICAL hotel in Greece. People are like that. Lazy. They don’t want to work, because a tourist, having arrived, shovels everything - and he will spend money, since he came to rest. The cost is unjustified. I thought the most expensive coffee I had was in Piazza San Marco in Venice - but no, in the snack bar of the Pallini Hotel. If you have any questions - write to allaseagull@yahoo. com. au. I won't go to Greece again. I will go to Italy, even to Montenegro. And there - no. And it's not even that, you can say, the hotel is, like, 4 stars. It's just bad to live even in the top five, and walk the streets littered with plastic bottles. You can't live like that. Need to clean up. And you need to work, and not tear tourists at exorbitant prices. Here I sit - and I did not write anything good. BUT! Not! Sea. There is no such sea anywhere. Sweet, warm, clean. This cannot be taken away. I wish you all a more comfortable holiday than the one that happened to me this year. Damn, I've been waiting for this!
