Hello! The impressions of my vacation with my son will not fade away, so I decided to write a review that might help someone decide on a vacation spot for next year.
At the end of August, we rested in a very nice and lively village of Hanioti, which is famous for its abundance of shops with souvenirs, bakeries, bars, taverns, where every evening it turns into a gastronomic excursion.
I rested with my son in the Ostria hotel, I liked the hotel very much. It has four stars, food, service, accommodation at a height, as befits a hotel of this category. However, the territory of the hotel is small.
However, the hotel has its own pool and its own coastline, where sunbeds and umbrellas are free for guests, and they also provide towels. At the reception there is always a decanter of cold water with lemon and lime, which is especially tasty and pleasant to drink in the heat.
We took only breakfast at the hotel, because we went to the village for dinner and lunch, arranging dinner for ourselves every evening in different places.
The hotel also has some kind of animation program on Fridays when performers come and sing Greek and other songs.
The room is new, beautiful, stylish, air conditioning and plumbing work perfectly, and you feel like you are relaxing in some luxurious place. Our room had a side view of the sea, which in the morning gave the impression of being in paradise.
For breakfast at the hotel, everything was the most necessary: eggs, sausages, cheeses, bread, cereals, various sweets. My son has always loved baked goods for breakfast.
In addition, since we rested for 2 weeks, we decided to visit a maximum of excursions: we visited Meteora, flew to Corfu, twice went on the Poseidon Trident cruise, because our son was simply delighted with him, also to Thessaloniki. The hotel guide was always in touch, the girls at the reception are friendly, the weather is fine, the hotel is new and very comfortable. I advise the village itself is a very cozy, colorful and wonderful hotel.
I would like to say a few words about the beach in Ostria: there is a small feature of entering the water, based on the fact that the bottom here is not very comfortable for entry, it is packed with special bags, passing through which, like a pontoon, you find yourself in the crystal clear water of the Aegean Sea.

Warm Greek YaSU to everyone)) went with a friend to rest in Greece this summer, more precisely this June) we went there not for the first time we were already in Crete last year, everything was so wonderful and we liked it so much that we decided to return to this sunny country again, hospitable with warm cuisine, friendly people and insanely beautiful and clean sea!!!!! This time our choice fell on the peninsula of Halkidiki, namely Kassandra) for those who know a lot of details are not needed, for those who are not yet in the know - this is the most fun, mobile and youthful peninsula) well, not far from Thessaloniki.

We lived in a town called Hanioti, at the Ostria Sea Side Hotel : -) we arrived and were immediately delighted, that's all we needed. It's great when everything starts so well : -)
We arrived, we were met and settled even earlier than 2 hours, the room was a standard double with a sea view, we were happy)))
Everything in the hotel is so cute and cozy, everything is brand new, excellent breakfasts!! ! The design is so thoughtfully concise and completely moderate!
We were met by such a nice girl who was our guide - Elina. Thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism, she loves this place very much : -) so we had no other choice from her story yet)))
We didn’t have to be persuaded for a long time, and we went on two exciting trips, one of them, of course, Meteora, and the second is the island of Corfu!
Both are amazing, I can’t imagine how it was possible to build such monasteries on these rocks........
Well, Corfu was not visited by chance, it was even an admonition from my mother... I myself really wanted to, thanks to my friend for agreeing immediately and keeping me company... I saw so many beautiful things, most importantly I visited St. Spyridon, I've heard a lot about. . .
And of course, the place of Paliokastritsa with these coves is so picturesque!! ! And the tavern in which we were treated, there are no words !! ! The view from the balcony is breathtaking. . . Now, when I describe my impressions, I understand how lucky I am!! ! After all, my dreams have taken shape, turned into an emotion and a warm memory....I really hope that this is just an acquaintance with this country, and our friendship is yet to come!!!
Thanks!

We spent two weeks at the end of May and beginning of June at the Ostria Sea Side Hotel in the village of Chanioti. Vacationing with my husband and daughter. The place to stay is just great, peace and quiet, but it has everything you need. We chose a hotel right on the beach. As a result, we got a beautiful room on the 2nd floor with a balcony.

The place to stay is just great, peace and quiet, but it has everything you need. We chose a hotel right on the beach. As a result, we got a beautiful room on the 2nd floor with a balcony. The hotel opened only last year, and you can really feel it: everything is new and clean, modern design. The staff is young and friendly, some speak Russian, they always tried to help and are always in a good mood. Special thanks to the reception girls, Elise and Lyuba.
A big plus of the hotel is that almost everything is provided for free (after talking with tourists from other hotels, we realized that we were very lucky). Wifi is free, a safe in the room too, at the reception they give beach towels on bail. We even had a kettle with cups and tea bags in the room, however, due to the heat, we only used them a couple of times.
In general, we really liked the hotel. The only pity is that there are no dinners, but we went to dine in a tavern in the village, so it does not matter. Greeks cook very tasty. The portions are just huge. At first we didn’t know this, but then we understood and my daughter and I began to take one dish for two, and my husband ordered himself a whole portion for one, a glutton.
We will definitely come back here again!

The main problem is the complete lack of wifi not only throughout the hotel, but also in the rooms themselves. Despite the fact that the Internet is declared as free and everywhere, it will take you a lot of time to simply connect to the viber, I am silent about sending / receiving emails. It is simply impossible to work, you will go to the nearest restaurants where wifi is good.

Breakfast is monotonous, on the third day there is the same tired, it is desirable to expand the range. Since the chef is only at the hotel from 12, it is not possible to order anything from the breakfast menu. I want to note that the restaurant menu is not very diverse, but the chef cooks delicious. Liked almost everything we got.
A number of hotel staff (not all) are completely unprofessional. For example, at 12 at night they can knock on the room (and so they knocked on every room, they absolutely did not care if there were children there, whether people were sleeping), and, without explaining anything due to lack of knowledge of Russian or English, go into the room and turn off a switch. This can't be annoying.
Another point - a very small corner pool, located almost on the road, right at the entrance to the hotel. We spent time exclusively by the sea, so we didn’t care, but to whom this moment is important, take note.
In all other respects, the hotel is new, good, all rooms overlook the sea, the rooms are cleaned daily and well, air conditioning works well, TV, there are 2 Russian channels.
The sea is very clean and warm, the entrance to the water is not cleared a bit, it is better to go in special shoes.
Less than 5 minutes walk to the village center, we found an excellent tavern To Hellinikon, I advise everyone to visit - the freshest fish, everything is very tasty and excellent service.
In general, the hotel - the correction of their own mistakes and, as a result - prosperity, and you - a good rest.
