I stayed with my family in this hotel in August this year. We chose this hotel for relaxation, because it is located close to the sea and, in principle, not far from the center of the village of Hanioti. When we arrived, it was about 13:00, we waited about an hour to check into the room, this is a normal practice, they usually check in European hotels after 14:00. We had a building that stands directly facing the sea, and we even had a little view of the sea. The room was good, had everything you need, cleaning was carried out regularly. From a small hill, along which we descended to the sea, very beautiful landscapes of the bay open up. Walk to the sea no more than 5-7 minutes. The beaches are municipal, which means you can lie on your mats or towels, or use the sun loungers and umbrellas of beach bars on the beach, you just need to order a drink. We usually ordered coffee, especially since Greece has a huge selection of coffee.
To the center, as I already wrote, not far, 10-15 minutes walk. There are many cafes, taverns, attractions, there is a temple. In the evenings, just crowds of tourists walk around the center, not overcrowded.
There is no animation at the hotel, but we didn’t need it, we were on the beach all day, and in the evening we walked around the center of the village. There is a small playground.
The hotel has a medium size and very green territory, there is a large swimming pool, a bar near the pool. The hotel also has a supermarket where you can buy water, sunscreen or ice cream. As for food, we took breakfast. In principle, everything was fine, the usual European breakfasts: scrambled eggs, bacon, croissants, cereals, etc.
The only thing we didn't like was the Wi-Fi in the hotel, it's almost non-existent. It is not available in the rooms, and in the lobby, where we were promised free Wi-Fi, it practically did not work. We were offered telephone cards at the reception, but we did not buy anything and, basically, sat on the Internet in taverns, where we had lunch and dinner. Pleasant and polite employees work at the reception, they help to resolve issues, if any.
Of the excursions, we purchased "Shopping in Thessaloniki", and were very pleased. We went to two shopping centers, bought a suitcase, a sports suit and sneakers for my husband. Then we had about two hours of free time in Thessaloniki itself, and there I didn’t leave without shopping. I have never seen so many famous brands and brands in one place. Moreover, just in August, the sales season took place, and some things could be bought for only 5-8 euros.
In general, a cozy hotel for a relaxing holiday near the sea and without animation.

We rested in Greece for the first time, from 28.07 to 11.08. 2014. Sending / receiving company - Mouzenidis Travel. The organization of the rest is very good, starting from the meeting at the airport and ending with the wires in the same place (until the last person was registered, the representative of the company did not leave).

We arrived at the hotel at about 12:30, settled immediately, a room in building A, on the 2nd floor.
The room is spacious, there is a kitchenette, if you wish, you can cook your own dinner in the room (we didn’t use the stove, we cooked a Greek salad with local olives and olive oil for lunch, bought fruit, it was enough for lunch). Of the shortcomings in the room - sooo small shower, hard to adjust cold/hot water; periodically - some musty smell from bed linen.
The cuisine at the hotel is excellent, breakfast is standard European, dinner is not repeated, always 3-4 types of meat / fish with a variety of side dishes, fruits (including watermelon / melon), delicious desserts (since half board, drinks for dinner are paid ).
The beach is 5 minutes from the hotel (on the left MOLOS - youth party, on the right - WHITE BEACH - family), you take 2 sunbeds and an umbrella, but you have to buy 2 drinks (8-10 euros), the place is paid all day. The beach is sandy and pebbly, crystal clear sea, there were no algae, hedgehogs, etc.
The hotel staff is very friendly (no dissatisfied faces, just Sorry / Thank you), special thanks to the bartender Georgy - a holiday man, a polyglot, creates a wonderful evening atmosphere in the hotel (for both children and adults - a source of good mood).
We went on a two-day tour of Meteora-Athens, despite the heat of 37 degrees, there are a lot of impressions - an excellent guide Daris, telling a lot of history, myths, legends, etc. , and of course visiting Meteora and the Acropolis is a must see!
We fell in love with Greece, the most important thing is the beautiful Greeks (Greeks who adore their Hellas), and of course people create the atmosphere of any country.

Then a few words about the pros and cons. Well located, close to the village. The territory is good, well-groomed. Very interesting pool, especially for children. Pines and bananas (namely bananas, not palm trees, but there were enough palm trees) : ) Good food, which everyone paid attention to. We took both breakfast and dinner for the first time, which we were very pleased with later. The food is varied and tasty. For dinner, there are always at least three types of meat, always in different ways. Dessert. But for some reason, water, no, is not supposed to be for dinner. Breakfast car with yuppies and tea/coffee. Tea is generally decent, in bags, coffee was also drinkable. For lunch we took beer, sausage, bread, cheese, fruits, etc. in the nearest supermarket.
Our room was large, two bedrooms (large adult) and for children with two quite normal single beds. And like a hall with a kitchen. The kitchenette had everything down to the coffee maker, but we didn’t use anything except plates / forks. A chic large double balcony, on which there was a sofa and a table with ottomans. It was convenient to have lunch during the day. The balconies in the single rooms are also quite wide. The cleaning lady came every day, we told her to come every other day. But there were also comments on the number. The room is a family room, and there are no locks on all doors, including the toilet / bathroom, at all. And the joke that everyone was talking about, it is very difficult to adjust the water in the shower - either ice or boiling water. But what would be quite a disaster - then no.
There was only one TV, in fact, not even a TV, but some kind of monitor in size, but they rarely watched it. Wi-Fi caught us, weakly, and only because our balcony overlooked the courtyard. Some paid Wi-Fi has a more powerful signal, cards were sold for it. Or go to reception.
About the beach. Well, this is a difficult question. You could lie on the sun loungers, they are free for those who take something from the bar, but we love the sand and the youngest especially needs to run / build castles. Therefore, we went further behind the sun loungers (to the right), it is quite decent there and there are few people. But the beach itself is not very good, not only is the sand some kind of dusty gray, but it is also not cleaned there. But the water is gorgeous. But after 5 meters it was already up to the neck of an adult, it was not expected (after the Bulgarian beaches), but there were no particular problems with this, especially since there were not many people.
A few words about Greece in general - the same Bulgaria is only more expensive. Maybe even better in Bulgaria. Cars do not let pedestrians through, behind the fence (in the general sense) desolation, sidewalks, that is, they disappear, even in our town (the largest village in the district) there is nothing to see, even though there were shops, so we went out for a walk every day. Of course, you could go on excursions, but the nearest one is 4 hours by bus one way. With money, a separate topic, they already looked askance at a hundred, and they changed five hundred for two days with adventures, they didn’t want to accept it in any store, they changed it with a fight in the nearest supermarket.
Bought a coat. There are 5-6 quite decent fur coat shops in the village. And you could go on a fur coat excursion. More about money. In one fur shop they said that they don’t accept cards at all, only cash, where we bought it, they barely persuaded us. The saleswoman asked me to pay at least half in cash. They said that we didn’t take so much money, but we don’t want to withdraw from an ATM, because. a big percentage. Yes, and the jewelry store said they don't accept cards. We were, to put it mildly, shocked.
And a few words about the host, Mouzenidis. This has not yet been encountered, a bunch of young guys girls / guys in yellow T-shirts. Okay, they met us and put us on the bus, but when we left, they stood with us at the registration desk until everyone was sent. Well done. And the buses are new.

Just arrived from magnificent Greece. We got to the hotel by accident, because in the Imperial Hotel (Nea Skioni) the owner turned out to be unscrupulous and our rooms with a balcony were rented out to others. Our tour operator offered us an alternative to the Lesse Hotel for a couple of days until the Imperial rooms we booked were released, but then we stayed there until the end of the holiday.

Impressions about the hotel are only positive. Although it is located in the noisy village of Hanioti, the location is excellent for both a relaxing family holiday and for young people. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Chanioti, so it is very calm there. The center of Hanioti is 10 minutes on foot, but the village of Pivkohori is much more pleasant and interesting, 25 minutes on foot from the hotel or 5 minutes by taxi (6 euros). Now more about the hotel. Meals: breakfasts are good, but absolutely nothing has changed in 10 days (one menu). By the end of the holiday, we get bored a little, although this did not bother us, since we don’t particularly have breakfast at home. And here's dinner.......... charm. The chef spoils with a variety of dishes. Everything is very delicious. Especially grilled vegetables...........Drinks are paid, but not very expensive. Attention girls! there is a waiter Monolis there, something like that is his name, like a Greek-Georgian, he speaks Russian well, but he clings to the girls specifically, you shouldn’t smile at him and show interest, then there will be no passage, well, unless you yourself don’t mind. Very intrusive. George is a waiter at the pool-bar. A very pleasant person. Always smiling, cheerful, knows a little Russian, but you shouldn't give him a reason either))). Cleaning in the rooms is excellent, though if you leave money on the table. We left 1 euro every day, so towels and bedding were changed for us every day and cleaned perfectly. But a friend in the next building did not leave anything, so in 10 days they only changed towels and linen a couple of times. The territory of the hotel is small, but cozy enough. It’s 3 minutes to the beach, though going down the hill, back in the heat is not very pleasant, but it doesn’t really bother either. There is a nearby Molos beach (beach bar), we rested on it all the time. At 10 am they came and lay down on the sunbeds on the first line. Sun beds are free, but you need to order something (water 1 euro, ice cream 1.5 euro, beer 5 euro, fruit plate 5 euro, fresh juice 6 euro). But during the day you still take something. The sun is very dangerous. Even with cream and under an umbrella, you can get burned, so it’s better not to sit on the beach from 12.00 to 17.00. The beach is small pebbles, a bit dirty (smokers' fault). The water is very warm and clean. There are hedgehogs, so you need to constantly look under your feet, I was a little unlucky and had to deal with local marine inhabitants. In general, very satisfied with the rest. Greeks are very friendly and good-natured people. The cuisine is very tasty, the nature is beautiful. Just don't stay in a hotel. Rent a car and drive around Sithonia - very beautiful nature, picturesque coves. We also went to Meteora for 2 days. Dion and Olympus stopped by on the way. It turns out much cheaper and more pleasant than an excursion, if only for the sake of seeing Meteora at sunset, when it is completely deserted and there are no people, it takes your breath away. If there are any questions - write. I will be happy to help you. Have a good rest and only positive emotions!

Moreover, all this is closed with a curtain like blinds, if you do not want to see it all and are not going to use it : ) There is an iron and a built-in ironing board in the wardrobe. The room is large, bright, spacious, we lived just on the third floor, we liked it just on the third, then I went to my friends on the first floor, it seemed that it was a bit dark and somehow damp. As for the ceilings - complete nonsense! I did not measure, of course, but I think that 2.7 m is a minimum, maybe more. Perhaps, in some other building on the third floor, they were sloping, we had straight ones (building C overlooking the sea). Cleaned up great! Washed floors every day, changed towels! Linen was changed every 3 days. The sea is cool, the water is clear, the sand is white. The British and Germans, who mostly live in this hotel, did not go to the sea at all, the beach is empty. Everyone lies by the pool all day long, roasting in the sun like tobacco chickens : ))))) Regarding food. Cooking, in general, not bad, but too monotonous. Somewhere around 4.

About nutrition. Cooking, in general, not bad, but too monotonous. Upset the lack of cottage cheese and yogurt for breakfast. Solid eggs - fried eggs and scrambled eggs of two types - fried and rolled into rolls and in the form of porridge, apparently mixed for a couple. Tomatoes and cucumbers of a terrible look and taste, we buy these in the winter, and even then you don’t always want to buy them : )
Almost no fish was given, a couple of times it was fried (similar to grilled mackerel), a couple of times there were squids, 2-3 times chicken. And so - constantly meat - lamb, pork, sometimes also beef. The meat is prepared well, only the barbecue is constantly overdried. Moussaka is delicious. There are pastries every day, several types. In general, food for C grade, I think.
No one speaks Russian in the hotel, except for the waiter Manolis, he is Greek, he came from Tbilisi 25 years ago.

The sea is awesome, clean, although hedgehogs are scary. But they sit on the rocks and you can just bypass them. The kitchen is awesome!!!! ! Every day something new, you can always choose something to your taste. A Russian-speaking administrator will tell you everything, explain and give a recipe for your favorite dish. The only thing is that there is no animation, but we went with a big company and we were not bored. Of course, due to the distance of the location, all excursions are extended in time. But a very good boat trip to Torneos. You can watch dolphins in their native element. We really enjoyed!!! ! Went with a group, and all with children.
