A great place for lovers of a calm, measured rest. The hotel is located in a very quiet place between the villages of Pefkohori and Hanioti, up to the first 10 minutes walk, to the second about 25-30 at a calm pace. The villages have an extremely developed infrastructure - shops, souvenir shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, banks, etc. Food, water and all souvenirs were bought there. Please note that prices for fruits and vegetables change daily in supermarkets, where yesterday it was cheap, today it may be the other way around. A pack of six 1.5-liter bottles of water can be bought for 1.5 euros or 40 cents, for example. The difference is palpable. : )
The hotel was mostly families with children. The administrator and caretaker of the hotel Alexander speaks excellent Russian. And in English you will be understood in general everywhere. The apartments are in three-story small buildings, the walls are thin, so you hear a lot of things that you would not like. We had 2 rooms for two, plus a huge kitchen and a veranda (apartment No. 2). There are kitchen utensils - plates, cutlery, cups, mugs, glasses, a frying pan, a cutting board, a saucepan, a cezve and even a salt-pepper-bread box. Refrigerator, electric stove with oven, TV with a couple of Russian channels. Oh yeah, there was also a roll and a half of toilet paper. No soap, no hair dryer, no trash bags, no paper napkins. You have to take out the garbage and change the linen and towels yourself. I still didn’t understand the system - clean linen was brought in a huge black bag either after 4 days, or after a day. The bathroom is a little damp, but quite decent. By the way, the water is hard, the stains on the plumbing are not from the fact that they were not cleaned here, but from the composition of the tap water.
At the hotel we only had breakfast, the rest of the time we either cooked ourselves or ate in the villages. For breakfast, usually a large glass of juice (ice and tubes in the glasses appeared according to the mood of the bartender))), local tortillas with cheese, or eggs, white bread and cheese with ham, fruit. Pretty monotonous, but tasty, we didn’t expect more. If you went on excursions, they always gave you a "lunch box" - a croissant, fruit and juice.

Less than a minute walk to the beach. The very first photo of the hotel in the gallery is outdated. Instead of an olive grove by the sea, now there are buildings of another hotel, so technically Golden bay is on the second line. The beach is clean, but there are no urns and its further cleanliness depends more on tourists - it is not so difficult to take cigarette butts and other garbage to the urn on the way from the beach. : ) At first the sea seems cold, but after a dip, you don't want to get out. A couple of meters from the water's edge at the bottom along the entire (! ) Coast there are some small dark algae on the rocks. They are not dangerous, but not very pleasant. You can buy slippers for 3-5 euros and enjoy the sea without any problems. Sea urchins were not met)) The beach itself is small-small stones, slightly larger than grains of sand in size. When entering the sea, pebbles appear. There are very few people in this place. It happened that the neighbors were only 30-50 meters on either side of us.
In general, a great place for relaxation and family holidays. In combination with excursions there will also be an educational adventure.
How many times I am already convinced that the main thing is the mood with which you travel!
