A month ago I was relaxing at the Simantro Beach 4 hotel. Now I’ll tell you how it was there. But first, for reference: TO Labyrinth, Aegean Airlines from Domodedovo, receiving Ambotis.
The hotel is located in Halkidiki on the Kassandra peninsula. There is a lot of greenery, beautiful pine forests. The closest village to the hotel is Sani (5 km), further away is Nea Fokia (13 km). All communication with the world, civilization from Nea Fokia. There goes the main road. From the hotel there is also a bus to the villages of Afytos and Kallithea (8 euros round-trip). As an option, it is more economical to go there by bus, and then travel by intercity buses along Kassandra and to Thessaloniki. Ideally, rent a car.
Simantro Beach Hotel is surrounded on all sides by a pine forest and the sea with a beautiful beach. In July, it is already hot there and you can swim in the sea from 7 in the morning. Sunset is smooth in the sea, fine sand all around. Fish swim up to the shore in flocks. In addition to the main restaurant, you can also have breakfast in a restaurant near the beach.

My room was in one of the old buildings, closer to the sea. The room is clean and good. Plumbing in the bathroom, TV in the room with a Russian channel - everything is in order. The bathroom has a hair dryer and a magnifying mirror, soap, shampoo, too. Towels are changed every day. Linen can be dried on two hangers on the balcony. The balcony, by the way, went out to the forest. I didn’t meet mosquitoes, but wasps - a couple of wasps were spinning around the sweet on the beach, they didn’t touch me.
The reception has a computer corner where you can sit with your laptop or use the hotel computer - but I didn't use it. For a couple of euros, you can sit in a massage chair for 6 minutes (do you know that there are always such people at large exhibitions? ).
Near the reception building is the building of the main restaurant and the building of the Spa with a heated pool.
The food in the restaurant is delicious, everyone liked it. The only dish that upset me was the kebabs, which were cold and not tasty at all. Rice with seafood, meat, poultry, ovoz dishes are very tasty. Fresh yogurts in the morning up to 6 different types, sliced ​ ​ seasonal fruits (watermelons, melons, pears, apples, kiwis). The cutlery is already on the table covered with a tablecloth in a special linen case. Sometimes the restaurant opens a little later. You can often see how the hotel manager looks at the work of the staff or greets guests at the entrance to the restaurant.
In the basement of the building there is a children's mini-club Salyut. And above the restaurant there is a restaurant a la carte Trulos paid, the doctor's office and the club of the Night Player from the animators Salute. There, in the evenings, we gathered in the room and played various interesting games, a couple of times I took a book to read from the library there. Nearby in the hall there is a bar where in the evening, after taking a glass of cocktail, you go to play, for example, in the Mafia.
Of course, in addition to these games, the animators work all day from 10 am. In the morning they can be seen on the beach and by the pool or in the theater. In general, throughout the hotel there are games for children and adults too.
The rest quickly flew by, and the memories and photos warm the soul so far. I took a piece of the sea and the sun home with me.
