We traveled as a family of 4 in August. The tour was bought from Mouzenidis.
From the very first minutes we liked everything, firstly, everything is organized. We were met at the airport with a sign, then checked in at the company desk, the buses are comfortable, the drivers speak Russian. During the trip, they talked about Greece on TV, everything was at the highest level.
Since our hotel is located on a hill in the forest, there was no access on a large bus, and therefore we had a transfer to a mini bus, which took us directly to the hotel entrance.
Forest Park is located at a distance of about 80 km from the airport, between the villages of Kalithea, which we passed through and Kriopigi.
The hotel is small, old, but it's quiet and peaceful. The air is excellent, there are only trees around. The beach is 5-7 minutes across the road. Unfortunately, there is no crossing and this is a big minus for the hotel, but we carefully crossed the road. The beach is municipal, "wild", that is, not equipped, but the sea is crystal clear.
The hotel has a mini market, a swimming pool, a tavern, where we ate half board. But the tavern is open from 13:00, where you can dine at your own expense. Sometimes we ordered some dishes in advance and they prepared them for us. Let's never forget the taste of the moussaka prepared by Rosa, it was very tasty. The staff is very friendly and they speak Russian.
The room is the most ordinary, simple interior, everything you need to relax, the furniture is not bad, the air conditioner cooled quite normally, clean. But the hotel needs updating.
We were quite satisfied with everything. Friendly staff, calm environment and crystal clear sea are the biggest pluses of this hotel. Well, its price, of course.
The rest was a success, and we will definitely come back to Greece!
