Athos Palace Hotel is not new, it was built in the middle of the last century. Very conservative. Decorated in the style of a Byzantine castle, it may seem gloomy to some guests. The rooms are good. Clean, renovated. The room has a safe - 4 euros / 7 days (locked with a key), a TV (there are Russian channels), an original, but ancient centralized air conditioner (“disguised” as a nightstand, blowing weakly), a refrigerator. Wi-Fi in the hotel for a fee - 5 euros / hour, 8 euros / 2 hours. Drinks at dinner - for a surcharge, guests are asked to follow the dress code (shorts are not allowed).
The beach at the hotel is wide, sandy, with a small amount of stones when entering the water. Sunbeds are paid - 7.5 euros / "set" (free for "ALL"), beach towel - 10 euros deposit + 2.5 euros / week. There is a tavern on the beach. Athos Palace is part of the G-hotels hotel chain, and shares the territory with the Pallini Beach and Theophano Imperial Palace hotels.
Guests of these hotels, as well as the Macedonian Sun Hotel, which is located across the road, but is also part of the G-hotels hotel chain, can freely move around the vast territory of the complex and move from beach to beach (the beach of the Pallini Hotel is considered the best) .

The nearest settlement is the tourist village of Kallithea (about 2 km away). It can be reached on foot in about half an hour or by taxi for 5 euros. Near the hotel there is a bus stop (you can get to Thessaloniki, Potidea, Moudania, etc. ). Ask the reception for the timetable of public transport.
Across the road from the complex, at the Macedonian Sun Hotel, there is something like a small "shopping center" where you can buy fruits, souvenirs, eat pizza and rent a car. Several shops are available at the hotel itself. The complex has a currency exchange and an ATM.
