Greece, Crete. Star Beach hotel: 2 weeks and money down the drain + complete lack of rest.
Unfortunately, I had to choose quickly and did not find any reviews. Took a risk and got it.
It is unlikely that you will be able to sleep in the hotel: on the one hand, right under the windows, the karting track is growling and squealing with brakes for at least 18 hours a day, and on the other two sides there are busy tracks.
There is no beach. Across the street is the water park. And if you want to fry for a few hours, then 3 euros for a lounger and not much. But for 15 minutes to start - also 3 euros.
Food. Quality.
Staff - what: they do not know Russian, German - almost the same, the menu is in English, did not take wine and beer at an insane cost in the evening - they look like a wolf.
Internet - 4 euros per hour.
The rooms are good. But I have a big sofa at home too : )
Sea: rare paid bits. And don't hit them.
There are a lot of fakes of famous brands, so it is dangerous to buy something decent in local stores.
Conclusion: a hotel for those who drove by car for a couple of days in the water park to have fun and not sleep at night; )
