Last year, my husband and I, unfortunately, could not afford five stars, so we decided to relax in a good three-ruble note, decided to go to Crete, at the same time see the sights, because in September the weather allows, since the suffocating heat is no longer there, it's time for excursions. They offered Dimitrion, and we went without hesitation. The hotel is small, in the heart of Hersonissos. Our room had windows to the courtyard, so quieter than if you take a room with windows to the street, although the view of their windows is worse, but we preferred silence. The room has a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning also worked properly. Everything else was taken a couple of times at the reception (iron and hair dryer, they gave it right away). The room was clean, nothing was broken. including plumbing. There was no point in taking all inclusive, since we lived in the city, took breakfast and dinner. The food is the most ordinary, as we are used to at home. Eggs, yogurt, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, buns, salad for breakfast, hot dishes, salad, dessert for dinner. We dined in the city, there is no shortage of "catering places", of course, there is no shortage in the city, and we respect the national Greek cuisine. By the way, in a restaurant you need to clean the dishes yourself, perhaps there is something in this. We went to Star Beach, there is a whole entertainment complex, but there is a beach closer, about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, it is a little worse there. The weather did not disappoint, fortunately. We rented a car, traveled around the island to our heart's content, saw local sights, towns and villages, where we stopped for a bite to eat with pleasure. I can say that we had a good rest, we were also satisfied with the choice of the hotel, the price corresponded to the services provided.
