Mitsis Laguna is a wonderful hotel, in the style of a good Soviet sanatorium. We had no complaints about food, cleaning or reception. The beach is none. not sandy-pebbly, but - pebble-stony. Umbrellas and pool seats do take up at 5-6 am. everything is free by the sea, but it is almost impossible to swim. It is rocky, it is stormy all July, the width of the beach is extremely small. I definitely won’t go to Mitsis anymore, but I will definitely go to Crete. rented a car 4 times from Stefan - great. traveled to monasteries and other places of interest. took a tour of santorini - not impressed. maybe the tour itself was poorly organized, maybe for some other reason.
