In Horizon, we rested with my husband, we went on the recommendation of those who had already been here. I think that the hotel is very conveniently located between Malia and Hersonissos, which also attracted me. The place is very beautiful, the hotel offers beautiful views of the sea and Stalida, which is practically at hand. There we went to the beach, about 10 minutes to go. The beach there is very good, wide, sandy, well, paid, of course, because it is municipal. There is a place to eat, well, all sorts of water activities (catamarans, pedal boats), everything is quite comfortable. We went to Stalida, because the hotel does not have its own beach, there is only a pontoon with a ladder, you can sunbathe somehow on the rocks, but, in principle, it’s not bad either, and some even like it. In any case, there is a choice and it's already good. The territory of the hotel is not small, clean, you can see that they clean it, it's nice to take a walk. Not far from Horizon is the Nana Beach Hotel (15 minutes to go), in the evenings we often went there for evening performances, often went to Malia and Hersonissos for shopping. Many people know Malia, there is already where to go in the evening, such a party town, there is fun and noisy in the evenings. I will say a few words about the room and food. The room is quite decent, refrigerator, even a small kitchenette, TV, telephone. The air conditioner, however, broke down on the third day, we said at the reception that it had already been repaired that day while we were on the beach (it was convenient that there was a Russian-speaking girl at the reception). The hotel provides shampoo and shower gel, the shower room itself is very small, the plumbing is not new, it worked fine. The food at the hotel is the most common: meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, various side dishes, salads, desserts, we had enough. On the territory there are several swimming pools, 2 bars (I note that alcoholic drinks are of fairly decent quality). Horizon is a 3 * hotel (and, accordingly, the price), probably due to the lack of a full-fledged beach, otherwise I would give it 4 *.
