We rested at the hotel in May 2012. We went with my husband and a three-year-old child. In general, the hotel was pleasant, although we expected more. On the first day of our stay, it rained, and this made the hotel seem especially miserable. Everything was striking, and shabby walls, and old rooms, and boring Italian animation. But the sun came out, and everything seemed not so bad. The hotel is located not far from Heraklion, and from Hersonissos by bus min 15-20. The trip costs 1.8 euros. The stop is near the hotel. You can go to the Palace of Knossos on your own (an independent trip with a guide cost us about 20 euros per person, if with a Tez tour - 65 euros) You can also go to the Oceanarium and aqua park on your own. Near the hotel there are local souvenir shops and a Spar supermarket. It's hard to find a Dynamite phone card, but it's worth buying, it's cheap to call Russia. Although the telephone (broken) is far from the hotel (but you can call). The food in the hotel is good, drinks too. The rooms are not cleaned very well, but the towels were changed every day, and thanks for that. At the reception there are local Russian speakers, but somehow they were reluctant to speak Russian. Ivan, an intern from Ukraine, helped out. The beach is excellent, fine sand, good entry. What else do you need for kids. As for animation, of course, you can’t compare Turkey and Egypt, but it was, and every day there was something new. Mini-disco, it seemed to me, the animators were sluggishly with forced smiles. But our child liked it, so everything else is trifles. In general, I liked the rest, but the second time I would not go to this hotel.
