We rested with my mother at the Triton hotel in Malia at the end of July this year. Everything was great, everyone liked it. The hotel is good, cozy, clean, very nice women at the reception, they tried to help, even without knowing Russian. At first we were settled on the first floor, we, of course, wanted a higher room with a large window and a balcony, but this was not available. Two days later, we managed to find a room in the building across the street. There, of course, the room is not so new, the furniture is not in perfect condition, but on the third floor and the view was much greater.
The food in the restaurant was delicious, you can see that everything has just been cooked. Dishes varied, everything was enough. Ice cream, some desserts, watermelon and melons were daily. Cleaned regularly, everything you needed was provided.
Every Saturday there was a traditional evening. Everyone ate dinner, and then danced and had fun. The girls from the reception changed into national Cretan costumes and entertained the audience.

It was a maximum of 10 minutes walk to the sea, the weather, of course, was not always ideal, but this could no longer spoil the impression of Crete and the rest. We came mostly for the sake of the sea, so we didn’t go anywhere, and there was only a week of time, but I hope one day to return back and definitely visit all the famous places! Not far from Malia, just, is the cave of Zeus, Heraklion and the famous Spinalonga. I will gladly recommend this hotel to friends, and in general to those who want a homely atmosphere and a relaxing holiday.
