We stayed at this hotel in August-September 2010. Upon arrival, everything was fine: a nice girl at the reception with good English, a young man grabbed our suitcases and escorted us to our room with them. By the way, the room was in the farthest part of the hotel.
The repairman in the room was average. Some parts of the ceiling were barely holding on. The door to the terrace didn't close. The lamp didn't light up. The view from the terrace is amazing: if you look into the distance, you can see the sea, and if you look close, you can see a wonderful view of the garbage heap and the backyard. There was no mini bar in the room.
Audibility in rooms in rooms with an open balcony is very strong. And if you're lucky enough to be next door to a kid. . . good luck.

The main guests of the hotel were Poles. According to information from the hotel staff, the number of Poles was 80% of the population. The remaining 20% was shared between Russia and Israel. Sometimes Germans and French met. The hotel is family run. An insane amount of children and babies. Sometimes it felt like you were in kindergarten. Stock up on analgin.
As we understood, basically the hotel operates on an all-inclusive basis. However, the cherished bracelet on your hand would not at all guarantee you a wide range of benefits provided. In the bars, primitive cocktails were poured (a la whiskey-cola, tequila-sunrise (you can immediately forget the word “Mojito”)), soda, juices (the taste strongly resembled a diluted Jupi), and it was possible not to stutter about fresh juices. The word "Cappuccino" was not known there either, but they could offer espresso, which was impossible to drink.
The hotel is located on the second line. It does not have its own beach. Hotel guests could use the beach of the hotel "Creta Maris" (located next door) but for a fee for sunbeds and umbrellas. And also it was possible to use the municipal beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas (with a hotel towel). The bottom on this beach (and on other beaches of Hersonissos) is rocky, so everyone splashed around the shore. A lot of locals, especially with children. On this municipal beach, no one walked and did not offer drinks (except for the Greek, who came daily with some kind of pastry, we never tried it). So I had to go to the supermarket or to a nearby bar on my own. The sunbeds were in a deplorable state, umbrellas too, some of them could not be fixed and under the influence of the wind they fell (thank God that without human casualties).
There are 2 swimming pools on site. Near one of them (the main one) there is a bar. If you're looking to soak in the pool with a cocktail, dream and forget. For all the time we were at the pool, no one approached us and offered nothing. Those. again, I had to go to the bar on my own and place an order (by the way, we drank cocktails from plastic glasses). They even poured coffee into a glass, only into a paper one. And if you decide to buy something for money, be prepared for the fact that you will have nothing to return the change (at least we had it). And write down the purchase on the account of your room - no one will guess.

A little about the service. They cleaned the room every day, but badly: they forgot to change the ashtray, then wipe the floor, then wipe the water near the sink, they could bring a bag of tea, but without the tea itself. Once, after the next cleaning of the room, they forgot to leave us glasses, we asked to correct the situation at the reception, to which we received an answer that the glasses would be brought to us only the next day. Those. I also had to fight so that in the "5" star hotel they still gave us glasses on the same day (in the end we got plastic ones and not paper ones, which were left in the rooms) for the opportunity to drink tea.
Main restaurant. The food is monotonous, I can not say that it is very tasty. We definitely cook better. They didn’t indulge in seafood and fish, but pasta, potatoes and pork were in abundance. There was even a separate children's buffet (since there are a lot of children in the hotel) with three dishes to choose from, from which your child would be offered french fries, chicken fries and pizza slices (very nutritious and healthy). For dinner you could order a schedule of local wine, local beer or plain water. Where it came from we don't know. To be honest, we didn't dare to try.
So, it's time to leave. The bus for us was supposed to arrive at 16.00. And the room had to be vacated at 12.00. We decided to extend our stay in this wonderful hotel so that we could still swim, calmly take a shower and get ready. The night before, we were told that it was theoretically possible, and that it would cost 60 euros, but to confirm this possibility, we were asked to come back the next morning, which we had to do. In the morning it turned out that they were supposed to move into our room, but it was not clear exactly what time. Therefore, we were refused an extension of the room and offered to walk around the city or sit in the lobby. Fortunately, the hotel turned out to have a lockable luggage room, and it was possible to walk light.
So decide for yourself whether you are ready to relax in such a "5" star hotel, which is essentially at the level of 3 stars.
