This summer we spent the best vacation of our lives on the island of Crete. It was amazing from the Greek air to the pillows in the hotel. Me, my husband and granddaughter Dasha spent two wonderful weeks at the Peninsula resort and spa. We did not choose the hotel for a long time, we took almost the first of those offered, trusted the agent, we did not regret it at all.

The location of the hotel is awesome, only 35 minutes by bus from the airport and we were at the hotel. We arrived around 9 am, we were greeted at the reception with a big smile. Checked in at two o'clock, as the hotel was full, but, nevertheless, until that time we had a good time. There is a room where you can change clothes, with a shower and clean towels, a bar where we had a bite to eat and drank coffee.

A small minus is the lack of a room for luggage, things were left in the hotel lobby.


There are no comments on the number, we booked a bungalow - they gave a bungalow. Excellent veranda overlooking the sea, inside the room is spacious.
Cleaning every day, we asked to be cleaned no later than 11:00, so everything was during the whole holiday, we went to the beach, and it was so convenient. The room had a mini bar with water, juice, beer. It was replenished, the same goes for tea and coffee. Free safe and wifi in the room.

I would like to note the cuisine in this hotel, everything is very tasty, especially local dishes. It is always interesting to introduce them to the country, but here there is diversity. They gave gyro, kebabs, local pies with spinach, moussaka and other folk delicacies. For the child, yogurts, fruits, sweets were appreciated, of which there were a large number. Of course, we can not say about the beaches, there are three of them. We chose Manonaftis, because Dasha was more comfortable there. The beach is sandy and pebbly, small, it is convenient to enter the water. We hardly went to another beach (Psaromura), there are small pebbles, but, nevertheless, there were enough visitors when we came.
There are enough children's entertainment in the hotel and there are enough of them: a swimming pool with a children's slide, a children's playroom, a mini disco in the evenings, animators all in full-length costumes, they are great with the kids! I would like to note that the animators are French, but they get along very well with all the little tourists.

Also a big plus of the hotel is that there is a public transport stop in Heraklion right at the exit. We went once, nice city, but just for a walk at a time. One way fare was 3.80€, not cheap, but the bus is very comfortable. On the last day at the hotel, we thought that we would sit in the hall until the evening, but the guide suggested that we could extend the room at the reception. Only 33 euros and we, consider, extended our vacation for another day. The bus to the airport arrived on the minute, and we went home with the best impressions.
