The Greeks are really very friendly. The hotel is normal for the money. We had a room overlooking the street, it was a bit noisy, but very cool in the evening to sit on the balcony with a glass of beer and watch the night lights of Hersonissos, the hotel is right in the center of town. In addition, you save money by buying beer in the store, because in bars 0.33 costs from 2 euros. They fed very well, every day there was meat, pork or veal, chicken, always fish. For dessert there was ice cream, various creams, jams, canned peaches, apples, in the evening watermelon, in general, fed very cool. The sea is about 50 meters from the hotel, but always hung out on the coolest beach Old Beach, there is a sandy beach and sunset, a lot of young people from all over Europe, music, foam discos and open air all night.

We rented the car at the Panavia office, which turned out to be the cheapest. For Fiat Seicento per day we paid 25 euros with full insurance. We took for three days. By the way, this is the only office we found where you can buy retail. We took enough for 1 day and a day later for another 2. And this office has its own water park, and we were given two more tickets for free. That is, we saved at least another 30 euros. The office is just to the right of the hotel. They speak Russian. We went to Knossos, where we paid only for the entrance, but fell on the tail of a Russian-speaking guide and the tour was free. Tickets for Spinalon have been ordered in Agios, by the way the ship sails there at 12.30, so don't be late. We also went to Lasita and the cave of Zeus, I highly recommend it. We also went to Vai, the only palm beach in Europe, where bounty commercials were filmed, also a very beautiful beach, it is worth seeing.

It's not scary to drive a car, the roads there are much better than ours, I haven't seen cops, everyone drives as he wants, but all cultural ones miss each other. The only thing is to put the car in the parking lot, not to spare 2-3 euros, because they can write a fine, and the fines there are large, for the fact that not fastened 500 euros. I don't know what to write anymore, by the way, the beaches there are free everywhere, only deckchairs for 2-3 euros and umbrellas for 2 euros are paid.
