I went to Crete with my mom and chose this hotel. because it is located next to the sea and, unlike other 2-star hotels, I read very positive reviews about it. And I didn’t make a mistake with the choice at all! For the money that we paid, 25 thousand for two, including visas and surcharge for fuel , we received friendly service (of course they spoke to us in English), a wonderful clean Cretan sea 40 meters from the hotel, quite normal breakfasts (albeit monotonous, but you can eat without problems for 7 days: dry cereal, milk, muffins, cheese, ham , watermelon, natural yogurt and Bulgarian cheese), the room was cleaned every day and very well, although they never gave a tip, everyone thought to leave it on the last day, but spent up to the euro))) We traveled around Crete (by ourselves, without a car, on regular buses): to Heraklion, Hersonissos, Rethymno, sail on the Mega Jet ferry to Santorini for 2 days (on your own, without excursions, armed with a map, guide, well, having booked a hotel in advance) Santorini is that fabulous place for which you can fly half of the world, and he was only 3 hours sailing !! ! We bought an excursion to the Cretan evening - but this is not for every taste, I didn’t really like it: a huge number of people at cramped tables, not the most delicious food, though the performance was fascinating, but probably everything was spoiled by the fact that the trip back and forth took 4 hours, instead of the promised hour, although my mother was delighted dancing sirtaki with the Greeks))) The food in all cafes is very tasty and everywhere they treat Russians kindly, absolutely (! ) unobtrusively, although young girls are still told a bunch of amenities (not vulgarity !! ) without grabbing hands at the same time, but admiring at a distance (during daylight hours, I don’t know about the night)
As a result: The hotel is more suitable for young people who do not get hung up on service (it is very unobtrusive, but thank God for us), although there were many foreign pensioners with grandchildren when we rested.
In general, my mother and I were satisfied, although we never rested in 2 stars, but rested in European 3 and 4 stars.

As for the removal of food from the restaurant: it’s a pity for the previous narrator that this happened, but we all need to remember once and for all what a buffet is in a hotel and there will be no problems, because in fact, this is really theft. I advise all young and active, as well as all positive-minded fellow citizens (knowledge of English is desirable, at least the basics)
