Three of us went to Greece, three girls. This is not the first time we travel together, but this time was special. Now I will explain why. Usually we went to 4 stars, where all inclusive. Sometimes we did not even leave the territory of the hotel, because the beach is a hundred meters away, there are as many entertainments as you like, the food is excellent. This year we wanted to use self-reliance. They didn’t dare to go completely savages, so they began to look for such a hotel so that they could only spend the night. Quite by accident, the manager girl offered us a ticket from the Anex tour to the 2 * KRI-KRI VILLAGE HOLIDAY APARTMENTS hotel. It turned out that we will be the first tourists from Russia to settle in this hotel. We took the risk to go, especially since the tours were very cheap. That's about the hotel and I want to tell.
Kri-Kri village is located near Heraklion, near the village of Gournes. The hotel is very small, only 50 rooms, no more. Surprisingly, all rooms are very spacious.
We took the Studio for three, there was enough space. The beds are wide and comfortable. There is a TV, you can set one channel in Russian. Bathroom combined, hot water in the bathroom without interruption. Each room has a kitchen with a fridge, stovetop and microwave. There are all necessary utensils. All this is free. For a small fee, you can take the money to the laundry, where they will wash and iron. Here you can live all summer like in a country house. But the walls are thin, you can hear the neighbors. But given the fact that there are few young companies here

The territory of Kri-Kri is small, walking around it all day is boring. There is a swimming pool. It is popular with guests in the morning and in the evening, because during the day there is almost no one here. The hotel is located on the first coastline, three minutes walk to the beach.
Food here is not the main advantage, and the hotel is not designed for this. They serve breakfast and dinner.
Pretty decent, but lacking exoticism and variety, so you need to immediately focus on food outside the hotel. In the village of Gournes (a few minutes from Kri Kri) there are many cafes where you can eat excellently and inexpensively. You can also buy groceries here and cook your own meals in the kitchen. We took a slightly different path - we went to Heraklion for the whole day. There they had fun, ate, went shopping and beaches.
If you do not know English, then you will have to explain yourself in sign language. The hotel, as we were warned, no staff speaking Russian. As I understand it, there was simply no need for it, because there were no Russian tourists either.
From all that I have already listed, we can conclude that Kri-Kri is not intended for lovers of relaxing in a hotel. It will suit people mobile, independent, or something. Here you can easily rent a car of any class for a reasonable amount.
Parking at the hotel is free for guests. We rented a car for 12 days and paid for everything at once. So did all of our neighbors.
Personally, I have the warmest memories of the trip.
