We rested in May in a hotel in Crete. Hotel 4 * right in the resort town of Karteros. The capital of the island of Crete - Heraklion, where planes from Moscow arrive, is not far away. Can be reached by bus. It takes about 15 minutes to drive. Since we were not very lucky with the weather, we often went to Heraklion. There are cool shops, bars, cafes. The first part of the evening was spent in Heraklion. The local Greeks are very cheerful and hospitable. They remembered us and invited us to their taverns for dinner at a discount. The second half of the vacation was great spent on the beach of the hotel, as the weather had already cleared up, and we even sunbathed. The beach of the Karteros hotel is very good - if you don't like it near the hotel, you can walk along the coast and choose a beautiful place to calmly sunbathe under the gentle May sun. Castati, the beach is located across the village road, the traffic there is inactive at all. But the beach is next to the hotel and you don't have to go up or down anywhere. In general, we really liked the hotel. Everything is clean, it is clear that they are prepared for the season. The hotel staff is very friendly. Even the tester speaks Russian with us. We liked the food - everything is fresh, there are fruits. Although the tables do not break, we liked the choice of cuisine. They also updated the rooms, we had plasma in the room. There was even a Russian channel. Sometimes it was so nice to watch some of our films. The plumbing in the rooms is new, towels and bed linen are fresh, not washed out. There was even a hair dryer. I think that already at the height of the season the hotel will be even more interesting, there will be many young people. We were satisfied with the rest - we also went on excursions. We did not regret at all that we chose this hotel. Although before the rest we looked for detailed information about the hotel on the net, but there were few reviews about it. The price of the hotel was very attractive, we trusted the agency manager who saw this hotel and did not regret choosing this hotel at all. In general, we were satisfied with our vacation
