I was in Greece for the first time in the summer of 2016, but I didn’t regret a bit that I started to explore Greece from this particular island. I went with my husband and child (child 10 years old). We rested at the Europa Beach Hotel. The hotel is located between Heraklion (the capital of the island) and Hersonissos, in the village of Analipsi. There is nothing much to see in the tourist place itself, but we mostly went on excursions. They settled us without any problems, and most importantly, very quickly.

It was also nice to watch how they try to learn Russian, but they know how to tell information about the hotel. They also speak English, French, Italian and German (for example, we always tried to speak different languages, as if we were practicing). Hotel guide Daria met us at the hotel, helped with resettlement, answered all our questions. And the most amazing thing is that the representative was almost always at the hotel (this is rare), that is, for any questions, we could find her at the reception and immediately ask. We traveled half the island and realized that if you don’t travel on it, then it’s not clear what Crete is. Those who are vacationing in Greece for the first time, I advise you to visit SANTORINI! This is a magical island, with its own atmosphere, its own traditions, picturesque places, white houses and churches with annual domes. Overall, it's just an amazing place. When you arrive there, it is immediately clear why this is a symbol of Greece.
And so, further on the hotel. The rooms are cozy and small. There were three of us in one room, but we did not feel discomfort in the space. There was one big bed and one small one. The rooms were cleaned every day (no complaints about cleaning either).
The cuisine here is good, everything is prepared tasty and varied. There are no french fries, pizzas and so on. It can be said that almost
home kitchen. Every evening the chef comes out for dinner to meet and greet his guests.
The hotel has two swimming pools: with sea water and mixed. We have always been near the sea water pool, because this is where all the animation takes place.
