I'll start with the cons, because there are few of them : ).
1. Distance from Heraklion airport. Drive 2 hours (unlike the northern coast, where a maximum of 40 minutes)
2. Hillside location. There are elevators, but walking up from the sea is hard in the heat.
3. Very bad internet. That the lobby is free, that the card in the rooms - you must be lucky to check your mail.
This is where the cons end!
1. The biggest plus is the sea and the beach. Sand and clear water - very shallow for a long time, not a single pebble, expanse for children - peace of mind for parents. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available anytime.

2. The rooms are different, but all have, so to speak, an external area - a balcony or a terrace (with furniture). Lots of greenery and flowers around. Family room - specify, there are three categories: room, suite, ladge (superior) family suite. The simplest room is not very successful: the entrance is directly into the bedroom, from it there is a passage to the nursery (which has no window), and from there to the bathroom-toilet.
3. Restaurant: delicious, a lot. There are always tables. Giving out bibs : )

5. In general, the hotel is designed for families with small children: bibs, changing tables in public toilets, washstands and urinals : )
