The hotel is certainly not 5 stars, although Crete may have its own criteria
so
1. There are no Russian-speaking employees at the reception desk (thank God, my wife and I managed to speak English), but given that there are quite a lot of Russian-speaking tourists, I think that when problems arose, it was difficult for many to communicate, explained with gestures and tried to find an interpreter from among the vacationers.
2. The room was practically not cleaned. Although the maid came in every day and her job was to throw out the garbage and make the old bed, and the bed was made in some mysterious way, that when I tried to spread it, the whole set of linen was taken out along with the mattress cover and again I had to make my own bed again.
About we wipe the dust - we don’t talk at all.
3. The room was not and was not going to put - soap, shampoo, gel, etc. - which of the tourists went to swear about this, then this all appeared before the next scandal.

4. Food - we had "everything included" - in vain, the food is monotonous, the choice is minimal - but all the food is delicious (we must pay tribute) - it is better to dine in restaurants near the hotel - very tasty, inexpensive and most pleasant in local restaurants it is customary to give presents at the expense of the house, sometimes the quantity "from the house" may exceed your order.
5. The bartenders are unpleasant, they give drinks with a look that you owe him, not him. If at the tables in the bar near the pool people started talking a little louder, the bartender immediately made the music very loud and immediately wanted to leave the bar.
Enough about the hotel.
But all these troubles were blocked by the gentle sun, pleasant sea and good mood.
In general, I really liked the rest in Crete and even all the troubles associated with the hotel could not overshadow it.
