This hotel was chosen based on reviews on the site. We rested with my husband and daughter 3 years old. We flew to Chania from there and took a taxi to the hotel (price 60 euros, travel time 30 minutes) We flew back from Heraklion, rented a car to the airport at the hotel from the tour operator Bilion tour (travel time 1 hour 20 minutes). Settled quickly . Upon arrival, a gift was waiting for us in the room: a bottle of red wine, a bottle of water and a fruit basket. We lived in room 7201 on the 1st floor. that they settled not in the building next to the pool, but after spending the night they realized that we would not change the building. At night it was quiet, the noise of the road was not heard, unlike the buildings located by the central pool. The hotel area is large, clean, well-groomed. Food for children is decent. I really liked that lunch for children (under 12 years old) is free. The choice is very good: steamed cutlets, boiled meat, boiled vegetables, pasta, sausages, porridges of 3 types, and at the same time french fries, chicken nuggets , fish sticks and 2 types of pizza For adults, in my opinion, the food is bland. Breakfast, in my opinion, is very diverse, but dinners are not. Attended a lobster party, not bad for a change. beautiful sunset, view of the sea, mountains. The beach is excellent, the sand is fine, clean, there are plenty of sun loungers. The entrance to the sea is gentle, very convenient for children. For children there is a kids club with a labyrinth, a playground, an aqua zone with slides. In the evenings, there is a mini disco for children. Of the minuses, I note that the show is designed for 7 days and then repeats.
Rotavirus infection was not observed (swimmed both in the pools and in the sea) We were satisfied with the rest.
Bottom line: Pilot Beach Resort is the perfect place to stay with kids!!! !
