A nice girl, a hotel guide, met us at the reception, told us about the hotel, walked together to look at the territory. We arrived at about 11 o'clock, as they explained to us the check-in at the hotel at 14:00. It was possible to leave things in the luggage room and go to spend time, either by the pool or on the beach. But we decided to go to the city of Ouranoupoli, which is located about 5 kilometers from the hotel (a taxi was ordered at the reception, the cost is 10 euros). We went to the city, as the children wanted to eat and there we went to a local Greek restaurant on the seashore and had lunch (lunch comes out on average about 60 euros for 4 people - of course). Time flew by unnoticed, we returned to the hotel, somewhere at 14:30, the room was ready, and we were settled.
We booked a Family Executive, according to the description, a room with 2 separate rooms, there were, of course, ordinary Family, but our children are already quite large 14 and 12 years old - so 2 rooms are better. Such a number and received, in the 4th building. Despite the fact that this is the highest building (in a hill), the view of the sea is gorgeous there. If you have no problems with the lift, then book rooms there.
We had no problems with the room, of course, inside it is not a chic room, a simple room with everything you need. Pretty comfortable and most importantly clean. There were no cleaning issues.
The beach is excellent, clean, sunbeds are always free. The sea is just great. The waiters on the beach served quickly, and in the restaurant too. Always friendly.
I really liked the fact that most of the staff is Russian-speaking, even those who did not know Russian still tried to speak some words, so we had no problems with communication.
The food at the hotel is quite tasty. Breakfast is a little monotonous, but you can eat hearty. For dinner, hot dishes changed. Large selection of meats and side dishes. Salads were always the same, here I would like more choice. For lunch, we always went either to Ouranoupoli or to the village of Nea Roda (about 2 km from the hotel). And in Greek local taverns you can always taste delicious seafood.
Also during the holidays went on excursions. The husband went to Athos with his sons. And then the whole family visited Vergina - Olympus - Dion and Meteora. Excellent organization, good qualified guides and comfortable transport in good condition. By the way, the drivers are great fellows.
Rest were very satisfied. The hotel is normal, they expressed their remarks, or rather their wishes, and it’s quite a good hotel. Recommended for family holidays.
We arrived at the hotel at about 11 am, we were met by hotel guides. Provided information about the hotel. Check-in at the hotel at 14:00, so we had to wait. In the hotel where the reception is, there are special shower rooms downstairs where you can take a shower and change clothes. We changed into bathing suits, took towels from the reception (5 euros for a towel for the entire stay, and 10 euros for a deposit) and ran to the sea. Sea, beach, nature - of course a fairy tale. We rested in other places in Greece, but here it is much more beautiful, a completely different atmosphere. The beach is good, but there are also stones - and sunbeds on the beach will be given to you with a minimum order at the bar.
We were checked in at 2:00 pm as promised. The room was booked Family SV - with a sea view. Great room, spacious. Who wants a gorgeous view of the sea and is not afraid of going uphill - book the 4th building. The view is certainly worth all the money. As in the palm of your hand - the island of Ammouliani, you can see the Holy Mount Athos, the eastern coast of Sithonia, bewitching sunsets and sunrises. The room was cleaned every day, bed linen changed 3 times a day, everything was clean, well done.
The food in the restaurant is good, well prepared. Different types of meat, fish was also every day. But I missed the squid and shrimp. And so our family assessment of the chef and his assistants is a solid 5.
I want to advise vacationers to go to the island of Ammouliani - there are actually the best beaches. And also we took excursions - Cruise to the Shrines of Athos (we looked at Athos, Monasteries and we were blessed with the Belt of the Virgin), and also flew to the island of Corfu. We enjoyed the tour and recommend it to everyone.
I liked the hotel, it is located on a hill, the only negative is that it is hard to go back to the room after the sea, otherwise everything is just wonderful! We stayed in a standard room overlooking the garden. Everything is clean in the rooms, for a child the third bed is a wide sofa, there are tea accessories and a kettle, tea itself can be bought at the mini-market, which is located on the territory of the hotel, and much more. The room was on the ground floor, it bothered us a little, but we quickly got used to it, we had a small but private veranda, where every evening we sat with a cup of coffee or ate delicious seasonal fruits)).
The food is at a high level, there are a lot of varieties of meat and fish dishes, every evening, pasta and pizza are prepared separately for you, there are always two types of soup for dinner, and the dessert is simply divine.
We took an excursion to Meteora, we really liked it, guide Panayot - thank you very much! Approximately 4.5 hours from us to Meteora + 2 technical stops. Departure early in the morning, lunch boxes were ordered for breakfast, and for dinner we were provided with cold plates in the room. We had lunch in the town of Kalambaka, at our own expense, lunch is not included in the price of the tour, it cost us about 13 euros per person. So you won't leave hungry.
In general, our stay was very comfortable and peaceful place. We felt comfortable as if we were at home. It is true that people in Greece are very friendly and helpful.
Just a week ago in early May, my husband and I visited Greece, namely the third peninsula of Athos. We had been planning our trip for a long time, for personal reasons we needed to get to Athos.
The hotel was chosen based on reviews and price range. We stayed at the Alexandros Palace Hotel for five days. More precisely, I stopped, and the next day my husband went to Athos. From the airport to the hotel for about two and a half hours, we rode on a group bus, comfortable and with Wi-Fi.
We settled in a new building, we booked a standard room overlooking the pool. To be honest, upon arrival, we could not see much, but the next day I explored the entire territory of the hotel, and it turned out to be huge and very beautiful. I can say that in the month of May there are no vacationers here, only pilgrims with their families and a few European couples looking for solitude.
I was struck by the peace and quiet of this place. It feels like time has stopped and there is no city bustle, various worries and problems that surround us in our daily life.
The sea is still cold in May, so I refrained from swimming in the Holy Gulf, but visited the SPA center with pleasure. As I was told this year it was rented by an Italian cosmetic company, providing a wide range of services.
I also went on an excursion Cruise Saint Athos. The tour lasts 5 hours, 3 hours of cruise and 2 hours of free time in the city of Ouranoupoli. In general, I was satisfied.
Our vacation went as planned, we got what we paid for. But our spiritual state has changed, and changed for the better.
I advise you to visit the Athos peninsula, to feel and appreciate its virgin beauty and grace.

I advise everyone to plan their vacation correctly
