My husband and children and I go to Greece almost every year to relax, she captivated us after our first vacation there. This time we went to rest on Athos, stayed at the Akratos hotel, a very calm place, a lot of greenery, the hotel has a large area full of greenery, trees, flowers and bushes. We were settled into the room immediately, a spacious room with two beds and one extra sofa to accommodate children. The rooms are clean, bright, with air conditioning, TV, refrigerator. I liked the lighting in the room. The balcony overlooks directly to the sea, amazing views open from it. The room is cleaned every day, towels are changed every 2 days, and bed linen is changed on demand (it was like the children spilled juice on the sheet, it was replaced for us literally in the next 5 minutes). The food at the hotel may seem monotonous, but everything is very tasty. Breakfast is the same as everywhere else. I really liked Greek yogurt with different additives. . Dinner was meat, fish, stewed vegetables, spaghetti. There are always fruits on the table: watermelon, melon, apricots. The beach is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, clean beach, white sand, clear water. The entrance to the sea is sandy and pebbly, you can buy shoes, but you can go in like that. Sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach for an additional fee. I liked that only hotel guests were present on the beach. In the evenings, beautiful music plays in the courtyard of the restaurant and many hotel guests gather, while a great company is recruited for communication and a sincere atmosphere reigns. A few kilometers from the hotel there is the city of Ouranoupoli, a beautiful place, my family and I often went there in the evenings to take a walk and relax in some local tavern, and get to know the local customs and traditions better. In Ouranoupoli there is something to see during the day, shops, cafes, taverns, and just walk around the city. This is a great place to relax with children, it is quiet, calm and comfortable here, I advise everyone!
