Hello! Not so long ago we were in Greece, having bought a ticket at an agency. This is not our first time in this country, we were already in Athens for the May holidays for 3 days that year, and now we decided to return again, but already to Halkidiki. The travel agent recommended this place for a relaxing holiday to my girlfriend and I, we wanted to take a break from the hustle and bustle. The choice fell on the Secret Paradise hotel & spa, a hotel in the town of Nea Kallikratia, 25 km from the Macedonia Airport of Thessaloniki, we arrived very quickly, in less than half an hour. There is a hotel near the road, but since the city is small, it is difficult for a large bus to get here, so we were dropped off on the road before entering the city, where our individual transfer directly to the hotel was already waiting for us, we drove for 5 minutes. Half a minute from the hotel there is a supermarket, a seafood tavern, right opposite the entrance to the hotel there is a small forest and a hill with a great view. Further along the embankment there are various beach bars with their sunbeds and umbrellas (you can use them by buying a drink in one of the bars), and opposite there are many shops where you can buy everything for your vacation: swimwear, towels, creams, umbrellas, beach mats, air mattresses and circles, souvenirs, flip flops, sunglasses and more. By the way, I want to note that Mount Olympus is perfectly visible from the city's embankment! The nearest major city is Thessaloniki, 35 km. A taxi there costs about 50 euros, but you can also get there by bus with a transfer - 4 and 1 euro one way. Also, the hotel guide offered many excursions, you will not regret if you go! Meteora delight, thermal springs, caves of Petralona - I liked everything very much. The beach is sandy 50 m from the hotel, sunbeds and umbrellas can be used by buying a drink in one of the bars on the beach, a very convenient system. Sea urchins are only on the rocks and on the pier, and the entrance to the water is safe and comfortable, there are changing rooms, showers, urns, but water sports are not available, unfortunately. The locals say it's for safety. . And they don’t give out beach towels yet, this is a minus, but we bought here on the first day, so no problem. The food was good, we had all inclusive. Everything is very tasty, and soups, and main dishes, and desserts. On Sundays, for breakfast, in addition to the whole variety of dishes, the cook will prepare an omelet with various additives in front of your eyes. The bar on the ground floor, by the way, is open around the clock, soft drinks and local alcoholic drinks are free. And on the 8th floor there is a bar with a garden on the roof! The view from there is simply breathtaking. The hotel does not have a territory, but there are various plants in front of the entrance, large candlesticks that are lit in the evening, very cozy : ) There is a pool with tables outside at the entrance where you can order a cocktail and so on. On the -1 floor there is a chic SPA with various services (cosmetic procedures, swimming pool, sauna, hammam). I especially liked the massage and the fitness center, which did not allow me to get much better during the rest. And wi-fi is excellent throughout the hotel. At the reception there was always a friendly Nastya, speaking Russian, the bartender Artur, who speaks only Greek and English, was always attentive. All staff are very friendly! For children there is a shallow compartment in the communal pool and in front of the hotel in the park, 20 meters away, there is a playground. The room was very clean, well maintained and beautiful. There is everything you need: air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, hair dryer, bathrobe, towels, slippers, bathroom accessories, safe for 1 euro per day, mini bar and sea view from the balcony! In general, the holiday went perfectly, thank you very much to everyone for this!
