Euro. After reading the reviews, thank you, dear travelers, that you are not lazy and share your impressions, the desire to go has disappeared, but I decided to take a chance. . . I went for 3 weeks, so I booked the Greek hotel Amirandes for the second half of the vacation, where we already rested only with our family and never regretted it, I will write about it in another review. And so: I and the reb arrived. 4 years in the city of Heraklion, ordered an individual transfer, the host party "Millennium", met immediately and we went to the glorious Minos Imperial Luxury Beach Resort & Spa Premium Class 5 * (it would be funny if it were not so sad), upon arrival , near the reception, we were greeted by a mixed smell of the kitchen and stuffiness. . . They took a voucher, quickly told everything in English and sent to wait for their turn in an electric car. . . We waited, got into the car and just around the corner there was another smell. . so probably the corpse of a long-decomposed animal "smells" like that. . . The child began to cry. . . We went into the room, turned on the air conditioner and it stank even from it. . . The child has already begun to sob and say that mom, I won’t stay here, I want to go home! I want to say that it will stink everywhere and in varying degrees of severity, but I quickly sniffed, except for the smell near the reception, which cannot be said about my son, who every day asked several times when we would move to another hotel, because it's not good here. Now everything is in order. Territory - large, to say that well-groomed, gritting my heart, you can. There are many pools on the territory, I didn’t count how many of them, because looking at them, interest in them immediately disappeared. Normally they are not filtered (if they are filtered at all), probably for this reason they pour an incredible amount of bleach, and this is in pools with sea water, their doctor said that sea water and bleach is an incompatible reaction, it is better to swim in the sea. The tiles in the pools fell off in places, both at the bottom and on the walls, the daughter of a friend tore an air mattress on such an area, the pool for the smallest deserves special attention, there is no toilet nearby, the dirt is terrifying around, on the ship, the one in the pool, five-centimeter rusty ones stick out nails. Lots of sick kids. Accommodation - I ordered a standard room, with a side sea view, the room is normal, this is the only thing that was more or less normal, not counting the smell from the air conditioner, a very beautiful view of the sea, Cleaning - no words. Tipping was regularly left at 2 euros, since she didn’t leave, the towels were changed, the garbage was taken away, they didn’t even touch the floor. The rest of the time - crawling with a dirty rag, they did not wash it even once on the balcony. Internet is paid. 3 euro - 1 hour, 10 - day, 30 - week. You work slowly, constantly asks for a code, then it doesn’t work at all, then there is a Wi-Fi icon, but it doesn’t connect. Beach - I liked the fact that it is surrounded by a concrete pantone, and the little one can swim in the sea without problems. Maybe someone does not know that a feature of northern Crete is almost constant waves on the sea, only in the last week of June and the first week of September the sea is calm. Complete calm does not happen often. Minos is located in one of the most windy places; tourists practically do not go to this part of Crete. Food - if you are an adult, you will find something to eat, I personally benefited from such food, I lost weight, which I could not do at home, but if you were not going to lose weight, and even with small children, then you will find little pleasant and tasty. The first thing that is not very pleasant is the breakfast, which until 10.00, at 10.10 already everyone starts to clean up. In the morning, something like this: you go into a restaurant, start looking for a table. . . There are tables. . . but they are not all removed. you start chasing the waiter in the hope that they will take him away, and your hopes are not always justified, I usually gave 1-2 euros for this, then you go to stand in line, not for oysters, but for ordinary scrambled eggs, as a guy fries it, a spectacle not for the faint of heart, who saw, he will understand me. Then the same queue for pancakes. . . The children's buffet is french fries and pasta : ) Their soups are disgusting, no matter how much they looked, no one took them. Only in the evening sometimes a Russian guy cooked something edible. For lunch, the child always gave pizza, there is nothing more to choose from. One evening, the temperature rose at the small one, I took him in my arms at dinner, and we went to the main restaurant, as I slipped, I almost fell with him, I look at the floor, and there. . . what is there just is not, and no one does not clean IT. I recommend not even touching what they call juice. Alcohol is also not so hot, beer, wine - you definitely won’t drink this at home. A glass of one or the other for 3 euros, water for free. Someone strongly recommends taking a diamond, I do not share this opinion, they will not offer you anything normal, this will be another scam from the hotel. When I was there, and talked a little with other tourists, I found out an interesting detail that everyone paid for the rest in different ways, and not only because of the rooms and types of food. For myself, I realized that someone was so divorced by the agency. I read a comment from a hotel representative, most likely Tatyana, to a tourist review. Her excuse for the shortcomings of the hotel was that the other fives cost more. . So my opinion is that there is no price-quality ratio. I once went to the four in Cyprus, Limassol, Mira Mare hotel, where the price is about the same as Minos, everything else is incomparable with anything. The Minos Imperial Hotel is only 10 years old, when it may have been a 5 * hotel, now only a large territory remains of this five.
