After the Greek crisis, prices for tours to this country fell sharply. So we abandoned the planned Egypt in favor of Crete, which in the end we never regretted.
The hotel is located on a separate, as it were, peninsula, quite far from other settlements. On the one hand - you can't get anywhere on foot - I don't know how they write about Milatos in a 10-minute walk - it takes about 10 minutes by car. On the other hand, there is a lack of locals, visitors, visitors, and so on. allows you to make sunbeds free of charge, the territory is huge and the rest is quiet and peaceful. The grounds are really big - even got a bit tired of walking so far for lunch. They settled us exactly at check-in - after all, the hotel was very full. For that they settled not in a paid standard, but in a huge family suite.
The hotel is not new, it was renovated a long time ago, but on the contrary, it gives some charm or something - marble tiles near the pool and a shower tray in the room are located.

The food is good: seafood, meat, fish - everything is normal. The staff is very friendly everywhere - Europeans! Were with a one-year-old child - at the request, they crushed any food with a blender.
The beach is interesting, with a large breakwater and, as I already wrote, an actual private one - no one has been seen by strangers for a week.
The contingent is few Russians, many Spaniards (worse than Russians), Germans, Poles.
Organized excursions were not taken. Renting a car at a hotel is twice as expensive as in the capital.
In general, they were very satisfied, first of all, with the "European" nature of the holiday - Greek flavor, the absence of a typical oriental service, a mild climate and a high stable quality of everything.
