My husband and I rested from September 15 to 22.2013 in Greece, on the island of Crete, the REA HOTEL hotel became a haven : ) As for the hotel itself, I can’t say anything bad! I started writing a review, I asked my husband "tell me your opinion, I see a minus only in the closeness of the bathroom")) He gave a monologue in response "and in our apartments with an improved layout? I sat on the toilet and rested on the door? " It turns out that this is not a minus either even! In general, the room is quite standard, we lived in number 414, overlooking the sea.

Yes, modestly, well, you will agree that the price is budgetary)) Spacious hall, interesting location of the restaurant halls - one closed, the second in the twilight under the roof and the third in a green open area, lemons and grapes grow overhead. Charm! They cook for us, tourists, from local healthy vegetables and meat, tasty, perhaps modestly, but quite edible, we have never been hungry! Yes, of course, for a change, you can go to a tavern, taste local seafood (there was fish once in the hotel during the week of our vacation). The hotel staff, as we read in most reviews - very friendly, friendly, unobtrusive, sincere (Europe))) Drinks at the bar from 11:00 to 22:00 with breaks for lunch and dinner - at this time in the restaurant wine and beer . That's true, the impressions were very pleasant! But! Lovers of comfort should still pay extra for the tour and buy hotels 4 or 5 *
Greece is a wonderful country, and on the island of Crete, the sea simply surrounds you always and everywhere, wherever you go) We visited Santorini - an exotic volcanic island... and Vai beach, with a stop on the way to the town of Satia and the Toplou temple. For general development and impressions, it is quite interesting)) Have a pleasant stay in friendly and beautiful Greece!
PS. We rested in many countries and at first in fives, fours. We concluded - we are not going to a super hotel, but to a country, to enjoy the beauties, climate, sea, sun... and not comfort in the rooms)) comfort is created in our house.

In principle, not bad. Very good location, close to city center, lake, beaches. Of course, it is necessary to warn about 70 steps from the sea for the elderly there can be problems. The buffet is not very varied, but given the price, it can and will work. With a penny price for fruit for two weeks at the hotel, we saw only watermelon.

It would be possible to put grapes at least for a change. Room cleaning is unpretentious, as we arrived from under the bed, a beer cork was peeking out (out of interest, we did not remove it) and left after 14 days, it lay there in a conspicuous place. If you do not pay attention to this, then in principle it is normal.

The hotel is terrible. Mosquitoes bite everywhere - both in the room and in the dining room. Fumigators and all kinds of anti-mosquito remedies do not help. The food is monotonous - the same coleslaw all 2 weeks, the fruit was watermelon and melon in small pieces. Wine diluted. The meat is different each time and deliciously cooked, but only one kind.

Air conditioning for $5 a day and no one knows when it was last cleaned. Plumbing is old, hot water barely flows, door handles fall off. There is water in the basement. TV in many rooms shows only one German channel and that's it. It is impossible to call repairmen. Unsanitary conditions. "All inclusive" ends at 22.00. And even tea after 22.00 is paid. Only water is free, but you can’t pour it into a bottle. The hotel employs only 7 people - each at once in 3 places - dining room, bar, cleaning. . . The owner is a rare goon - that's what all the local Greeks say about him. Saves on everything. At the end of our stay, I turned off 2 Russian channels out of 3. Brought his staff to squealing. The only person there is Kalia at the reception, but little depends on her. Zhanna from Pegasus works for her own pocket and does not want to delve into the problems of tourists.

Russian hotel. Well, Ukrainian. If you make repairs in the rooms, you get an excellent urban two-star. How they got the third star is a mystery to me. For 38000re for two for 10 nights, it’s excellent (in a room with a sea view), it’s more expensive to go to it, it makes no sense. The location is excellent, the sea is super, the town itself is excellent, the food at the hotel is average, although for Crete it will pull a four.

The biggest minus of the hotel is the plumbing of the middle of the last century and neglect in general in terms of cleanliness. But, closing your eyes and not staying too long in a hotel, you can survive. The staff is friendly.

I don't agree with the previous reviews at all! The cockroaches in the hotel, they cleaned everything a couple of times, and they burst without knocking with their keys, they come in as they should. The food is disgusting! Some eggs in the morning with salted ham! It’s more decent for lunch and dinner, but you won’t run away either, and despite the fact that I’m not a fan of eating from the belly, I was shocked! The owner and his wife are furious, as if they are doing charity work, and we are here with claims! Such greedy ones, they ran after people, almost checked their bags to see if we had taken their filthy food with us! Wine and drinks are rubbish! Poor kids! We bought everything in the nearest store, a little further from the hotel, in the very first store from the hotel everything is 4 times more expensive, a 0.

We bought everything in the nearest store, a little further from the hotel, in the very first store from the hotel everything is 4 times more expensive, a 0.5 liter bottle of water. - 2.5 euros, and a little further 80 euro cents, and such nice people work! Family: husband, wife and daughter, it was just nice to visit them! Not like the owners of the hotel! Phew, it's disgusting to remember! I won’t argue about the beauty of the city, indescribable beauty! On about. Santorini is simply amazing! The sea and beaches are great, if you do not pay attention to the hotel! We also went to Lassitti and the Palace of Knossos, but so-so! It would be better to go to Santorini 2 times, because not everyone had time to see it! People are friendly in the city, there are locals and Russians, we went to the water park on our own, without an agency, the Russian girl told everything how to arrive, where to go, and it costs 40 euros per person and also 40 per child over 3 years old. little blood. In short, everything is super, except for the hotel!

The price matches the quality! When we went, we didn’t have any special illusions, we knew where we were going and counted on 3 *! ! ! However, they were delighted! In my opinion, the food is excellent and varied, whoever is used to anything, it’s very difficult for me to please in food, but despite this, we didn’t go hungry! ! For breakfast there were sooo delicious croissants, try it, you won't regret it))).

The staff, and in general the Greeks are very friendly, good-natured, accommodating. The hotel was also liked by the fact that it hosted Russians for the first year, so there were no reviews about the hotel, when we arrived there were very few Russians, and this is +. Of course, the hotel does not have a territory, but it is not needed, because the hotel is located in the city!
The city of AGILOS NIKOLAS is a stunningly beautiful city, it is also called the Greek Venice, because there is a bottomless lake in the center of the city! ! The city is famous for its vibrant nightlife...
there is no entertainment in the hotel, but you just have to go out ...and in a minute you are immersed in all the delights of nightlife ...restaurants, bars, taverns are located along the embankment! ! ! I recommend a bar, 2-3 houses from the hotel, AQVARIUS BAR!!!!!! ! ! ! Large selection of cocktails, Russian-speaking bartender, dancing until the morning, great! ! ! share a hello! ! ! There are a lot of shops in the city, sellers do not bargain, but the prices are cheap and so, on Wednesdays from 6 in the morning the local market is open, I bought myself a dress there for only 10 euros, and this is not the smallest price))! ! Olive oil and feto are better to buy and Dyutefri!
As you leave the Hotel, the beach is pebble, sand is a little further away ...a good entrance to the sea, everything is very clean ! ! ! ! and in the city there are clean, cleaned streets ....of course, we are not in Russia! ! and safe, no crime!
Separately, I want to say about the climate - this is the best and most favorable climate for health! there is a light breeze in Crete, so the heat is easily tolerated, we did not even take air conditioning! ! !
As for excursions, be sure to go to Santorini, do not spare your money and time! ! ! it's worth it! !
Returning to the hotel, I also want to say that it is better to 3 * in such a city, and it is better to take rooms with a sea view! than 5 * in a remote place ...you go there to the sea, admire the beauty, relax, and not sit in your room! ! it is so? and the REA hotel is the best for that! you will save money by going to 3 *, but you will get a lot of emotions and impressions!! ! !
Have a nice holiday! ! ! !
