The bungalows are well located, you can easily get a sense of privacy in a huge flowering garden, while it doesn’t matter 1 or 2 lanes from the sea, the maximum distance from any bungalow to the sea is 50 meters. Luxury lovers can choose other hotels, inside the bungalow is simple and convenient, cleaning and change of towels every day, leaving small things is welcome. The beach is the entire coast of the hotel, according to my estimates, 500-600 meters, the coastline is broken, with coves, which is pleasant for people to disperse along the beach and sometimes 2, maximum 8-10 people can rest nearby within visibility. Mirabello Bay is beautiful, the sea is quiet and calm at the same time, for example, in Hersonisses (26 km), they were not allowed into the sea for a couple of days, we had peace and grace. Sun loungers and umbrellas are designed for everyone. The beach is clean, 2 sections are sandy, the rest are from ladders. The water is beautiful, there are a lot of fish, there are octopuses, starfish. There are hedgehogs too, but they are on stones, so you need to try very hard to suffer from them. The contingent of the hotel is English, French, Italian, there are very few Russian speakers. Several waitresses come from the CIS. The city of Agios Nikolaos is beautiful and picturesque, in the city center, along the cozy promenade, 8-10 minutes walk. Ignore the nearest store (Bakkus), a regular sunblock is 16 euros, in the city prices in shops are normal. We took only breakfasts, healthy food, fresh juices, yoghurts with honey, jam are great. The gym is outdated, this is my only major disappointment from the hotel. Art objects dating back to the 80s, left after international symposiums of artists, look organically on the territory of the hotel, the quality of workmanship is for an "amateur", but it adds charm to the hotel. According to the general assessment, for me it is "10", although many may not recognize this hotel as a "five-star", in terms of some modest moments, furniture, lack of variety of children's entertainment, but it is the comfort, silence, peace of the hotel that contribute to a wonderful romantic getaway on Crete.
