The hotel is conveniently located on the waterfront of Glyfada. Comfortable rooms, room service, quality service. The port of Piraeus is very close, making it easy to take a short cruise to the islands of the Saronic Gulf. The hotel was renovated in 2018.More →

The center of Athens is a 15-minute drive, we rented a car right at the airport, we traveled on our own.
Pleasant polite staff, greeted hospitably, settled quickly, which was extremely happy. We paid a tourist tax of 3 euros per day per room, we were warned about this and everything was written in the voucher. Payment receipt issued.
The room was given on the 4th floor with a direct view of the sea, very nice. The room has a double bed, a folding armchair, a wardrobe, bedside tables, a mirror, air conditioning, TV, a safe, a hair dryer - all for free. Internet signal is good, the room also has. The furniture and decoration in the room is new, clean, cleaned daily and to the conscience. Tipping was always 2 euros.
Initially, we booked only breakfast, because we were on the road all day. Good breakfasts, however, basically the same thing every day: eggs, cereals, cheese and sausage cuts, pastries, fruits, yogurt, yes, there is porridge. From drinks tea, coffee, juice, milk. Food is fresh, restaurant service is good. If you want to dine at the hotel, you can also for an additional fee. The hotel has an indoor pool. Fresh water, chlorine smell acceptable, no heating.
The beach is close at hand. The beach is sand and pebble. Sun beds are paid, beach towels at the hotel are free, a deposit of 10 euros.
We liked the hotel, a good city hotel. Everything is clean, tidy, the hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, hospitable staff. Thanks for the rest.

In early September, I went to Greece, or rather to Athens for a conference.
I chose a hotel in the Glyfada area on the seashore, I wanted to combine business with pleasure, and take a break from the eternal city bustle and the smell of exhaust gases.
It was 15 kilometers to the center of Athens, I took a car and drove on my own, traffic was difficult, I managed nothing.
But I got a lot of pleasure and energy from my stay at the Palace Hotel.
I can only say good things about the hotel, small, for a comfortable stay, worth the money.
The room is comfortably furnished. Everything you need is there, even Russian channels show.
The food is varied, high quality, fresh, tasty. Thanks to the chef.
The staff is very responsive and promptly responds to any requests, which is a big plus in the service.
The beach is a few steps away, clean, but not equipped, there are no sunbeds and umbrellas, there are beach towels at the hotel.
And everything is just fine. By the way, the Internet in the hotel is not bad, which was very important for me.

Usually we lie on the beach in Crete, but then we decided that after 3 years of traveling around Crete, you can also see the capital of Greece. So we chose the hotel so that it was close to Athens, and not far from the sea either. Were in the hotel from 15 to 25 August. I will say right away to go to Glyfada one and a half kilometers. If you are not ready for hiking, then you will have to pay an n-th amount for a taxi, or take a bus. Although, to be honest, we are one and a half kilometers away. Is it the distance. But there will already be 33 pleasures: cafes, taverns, and shops. In general, everything that an active tourist wants so much. Plus there is a small mini market right in front of the hotel. So, if you need to buy something small, then you can buy water, batteries and other little things there. The beach is across the road from the hotel. The entrance is gentle, the water is clear and the sand is very smooth. It looks like it's being removed. But it's a pity that there are no beach bars. This is bad. Although not fatal. In Glyfada, this goodness is more than enough. Yes, there are several beaches. As for food, it's like everywhere else. Such a standard Mediterranean breakfast: cold cuts of meat, cheese, bread, cereals, milk, jams, toast, eggs, feta, honey, etc. in general, you will not be hungry. BUT do not expect champagne with oysters))). By the way, if you don’t want to go to Glyfada for lunch, then there is a wonderful fast food right almost at the entrance to the hotel. The local gyros (flatbread with meat) is excellent. But, of course, this is for those who are not afraid to get better. Although I still want to say separately about the restaurant. There is such an amazing view of the sea that it takes your breath away. We went to the restaurant not so much to eat as to admire the views. On the plus side, I can also say that the staff here is very good. I will describe the situation: my mother soiled her dress in a suitcase. The cream spilled on him. So, they asked where to go. Although I understood that dry cleaning is such... you can’t find it everywhere. We were offered directly at the hotel. The dress is saved and mom is happy. So, if anything, remember that you will always be helped. The staff, by the way, speaks Russian, even the waiters in the restaurant. My mother's birthday was on the 20th of August. They brought wine and fruit from the hotel in the morning. A trifle, but nice! We did go to Athens. We took a tour from our hotel guide. An excellent tour guide, an amazing city and an incredible experience of a lifetime. These are my feelings after a trip to Greece this year. I think we'll be back.

My husband and I love to travel around Greece, we have traveled to many islands, this time we decided to visit the capital of Hellas. The hotel is not big, but the rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, all the furniture and plumbing is new. We did not spend much time at the hotel, so we only took breakfast. The breakfasts are good, the food was quite varied: cereal, jam, sausage and cheese slices, scrambled eggs, fruit was often given, etc. . We really liked Athens, we went on an excursion to the Acropolis, this is the main attraction of the Greek capital. I really liked this picturesque and history-filled place. In the evening I liked to sit in one of the many taverns in the old district - Plaka and admire the beauty of this place. We also rented a sailing yacht and got a lot of incredible emotions. We will remember this unforgettable day of rest for a long time! The hotel has very nice staff and the girl at the reception speaks good Russian, so she will prompt you with all questions. And most importantly - it's a beautiful view of the sea, which opens from the balcony of the room. Enjoying the sun setting in the sea is an indescribable delight! I wish you all a good holiday and I recommend this hotel!

I arrived in September last year in Athens on a business trip. It’s good that I listened to the advice of a colleague and we stayed for another 5 nights at the resort to relax. We settled in the Palace Hotel in the Glyfada area. Of course, the coolest thing about this hotel is its proximity to Athens. I can honestly say that it’s hard to surprise me with beaches, but food is what I find fault with. and on duty I often visit different parts of Greece and live in hotels. In taverns, the food here is amazing, but in hotels everything is not always so rosy. So here - just super food. Fruits, vegetables in salads and simply sliced, sweets, cheese and meat cuts. Of course, dried fruits surprised me the most. It's not that popular in Greece as far as I know. In general, I am completely satisfied. If you are in this hotel, try the cheese puffs. This is the signature dish of the Greeks. Pile of puff pastries with feta, meat or spinach. Delicious. You can go to Athens by taxi or by bus. But we took a taxi. It will cost about 20 euros. I think it's not that much. And about the rooms I can say one thing - a lot of light and they are large enough. Now, before writing a review, I read that this winter they did repairs there. I would like to see, of course, but I'm not sure that it will be possible to come. So I will monitor my review. Suddenly someone decides to write a comment about the holiday here. By the way, so as not to be bored - you can go on a cruise. There is a port near the hotel. Many simply rent yachts and go on their own, but you can also take a guided tour. Yes, the beach is across the road. Small but quite clean and cosy. Miracles used to work with the Internet, judging by the reviews. But this year there were no problems. Everything is as written. Catches normally and free wi-fi everywhere. I had a coffee machine in my room. I didn't really turn it on. Again, they say that some have not seen. I do not know . maybe just looked bad))). I liked the hotel. A colleague comes here every year with his spouse to rest. So, decide for yourself.

Absolute indifference and lack of desire to help, a glassy expression on his face and a clear desire to get off as soon as possible.
Claimed free wi-fi in ALL public areas of the hotel is a separate funny story. In fact, "all public areas" are 2 computers in a glassed-in 2-meter booth at the reception. So the information "Wi-Fi is available in public areas for free" is simply not true. If you need to log in from your laptop -2 euros per hour, 5 euros-5 hours, 8 euros-10 hours. On the 3rd day, they ran out of password coupons for 1 hour and I was offered a password coupon for 5 euros (moreover, for 5 hours I was given 5 coupons with 5 different passwords - that is, they were the same coupons for 1 hour))))) One coupon works only for one laptop, for two you need to take two, even if you live in the same room. The girl at the reception explained that the purchased time is spent as it is used, which was refuted the next day. The next morning, 3 untouched coupons, when trying to access the Internet, told us that they had expired. When addressing the question about this misunderstanding, another receptionist shrugged indifferently and offered to buy a ticket for 20 euros, explaining that they again ran out of coupons for 1 hour and 5 - in general, delusional nonsense))
Regarding the numbers. Small but cute and clean. Daily good cleaning and linen change. Antediluvian tiny TV. There are no utensils. Even a couple of simple glasses. The dimensions of the micro-refrigerator were impressive: 10-12cm in depth and 25-30 in width. !! ! It holds a maximum of 4 half-liter bottles, a standard large bottle of water 1-1.5-2 liters no longer fits there. Apparently, the administration thus "stimulates" the guests to order from the bar-restaurant. All sockets, except for the refrigerator, work only in the presence of the guest in the room. From a key card that is inserted into a special slot, and which is issued in a single copy for a double room. Air conditioning is no exception. So it is impossible to come to a cool room after the heat. It also turns off when the balcony door is opened.
About the views from the rooms.
Only 20 of them have a full beautiful sea view. The rest are looking at a VERY noisy road or at a nearby hotel. Or, like ours, the so-called sea-view: From the balcony, through the spiral draft fire escape, the Saronic Strait was a little visible, a full-fledged view of the abandoned construction site and the same noisy road. I'll attach a photo. The rumble of motorcyclists, of which there are hundreds and the noise of cars passing at a speed of 100+ during rush hours, drowns out the interlocutor who is sitting with you on the balcony 1 meter away from you, and talking on the phone on the balcony at this time is generally unrealistic. Our room was 511 - never settle for rooms located on the same side when booking. We spent a minimum of time in the hotel, but even this minimum managed to spoil the mood.
Four stars +? )) Three stars - the ceiling! Four apparently given for the public area on the ground floor, which really looks like them. Beautiful pool area, and the pool itself (approximately 25x8) is beautiful and clean. Cozy patio with a couple of tables under palm trees for smokers. Nice restaurant. The food is delicious and varied. There were never any complaints about the kitchen. Unless the fruits for dessert were tasteless, like greenhouse fruits, which are sold here in winter. It's in Greece in June!
The location of the hotel relative to the infrastructure is convenient, if you have a car. The lively place of Glyfada is a 5-10 minute drive away. In the absence of a car, I would hardly like it, because. there is absolutely nothing nearby. No shop, not even kiosks. There is a tram stop, but it will not be easy to buy a ticket in an electronic device, since there are no instructions in English, and there are a lot of ticket options. True, then at the reception they explained to us at what price we would need to buy a ticket and which tram number to use if we had such a desire. It’s not far to go to the nearest and only cafe by the sea, but their service did everything so that our first martini there turned out to be the last.
Beach across the road. Not furnished. Moderately dirty, but the water is clear. Close to depth. We swam there once a week, for the sake of it)
In general, the impression of the hotel is very so-so, and despite the fact that we prefer active recreation and practically only spend the night in the hotel, we are unlikely to return here for the second time.

Firstly, I was very afraid that the weather would let us down a little, but no))) in the south of Greece in Athens it was +27 degrees during the day. I couldn't even believe it. It was just a miracle! The hotel where I stayed is called the Palace Hotel in the Glyfada area. Its most important advantage is the absence of crowds of people (although it can be said the center of the city) and its amazing food. Also, the hotel is right across the road from the beach, very well to the center of Glyfada, 10-15 minutes walk, where shops, taverns, bars, etc. are located. You can also drive from the very center of Athens by car or bus. It's only 15 km. It is also convenient in terms of excursions, because the host is at the hotel quite often and you can easily book any excursion you like. I was on a 3 island cruise. Take it, you won't regret it))) Firstly, these are amazing beaches, small narrow streets like in Venice and very cheap prices for various souvenirs, especially on about. Aegina and you can also buy pistachios there, which is what this island is famous for). And as for the shops, I was lucky that I got into the sales period and bought a lot of clothes in the shopping centers located in Glyfada. Oh, by the way, I forgot to say that upon returning from the cruise, a Greek evening takes place, where a group performs amazingly, in whose dances you simply unwillingly join yourself)). I have been to Athens more than once, before that I was in the center of the city itself, but the rest itself, of course, feels more exactly where there is the sea, and even more so with such a good hotel. Fly, you won't regret
