The restaurant staff needs to learn at least some foreign languages, otherwise they didn’t understand either Russian or English at breakfast, they had to ask for scrambled eggs with gestures, and still they made an omelet instead of scrambled eggs. And I still don’t recommend massage in their SPA center, some amateur massage therapists practice there.
The most important advantage of Colosseum Marina is its location on the first line from the sea. The balconies offer magnificent views of the sea, the embankment and Batumi. One day there was a storm - the views from the room are worthy of Aivazovsky's brush!
I left the hotel, crossed the bike path and the embankment smelling of fresh wood - and you are by the sea! Sun loungers and umbrellas are free of charge for hotel guests. the sea is cleaner here than in the central part of Batumi - there is a port and more people.
We liked the distance from the noisy center. In addition, it is stuffy in the city center during the day, there is a constant breeze by the sea, it is easier to breathe.
In the hotel itself, you can take a map and a guide, if you did not grab them at the airport.
You can either walk along the embankment to the center, or take a ride on a rental bicycle and moto transport, or take any bus for 40 tetri, or take a taxi for 5 lari. A five-minute walk - on the one hand - a water park, on the other - a light and music fountain.
There are many different cafes near the hotel, shops across the road, a supermarket a hundred meters away. In fact, we mostly bought Borjomi, ate in cafes.
The hotel is new, with panoramic elevators, beautiful halls, new furniture, a nice swimming pool. Each room has a spacious loggia with furniture. There is a large common terrace by the pool, which is nice to sit in the evening.
The hotel is quiet and calm, all entrances are guarded.
Most importantly, great employees. We asked for an extra bed - the issue was resolved in two minutes, thanks! The staff is practically invisible, but it is there, towels appeared from nowhere and slippers changed.
The room is fully equipped, climate control, comfortable beds, clean linen, safe, mini-bar, and cosmetics. Drinking water was supplied every day, although water in Batumi can also be drunk from the tap.
Breakfast is a buffet, everything is fresh and tasty. People especially leaned on Imeretian khachapuri : ). Good coffee. A lot of fruits. It's nice to have breakfast al fresco!
We didn’t get to the SPA at the hotel, we swam in the sea more and walked around the fabulous Batumi.
Of the minuses - Wi-Fi normally catches only on the loggia. For a couple of days, the animators at the pool went overboard with the sound.
There was a lack of a clothes hanger for swimwear.
The hotel is suitable for older tourists, and for young people, and for businessmen, and for families with children. It is quiet, calm and comfortable here.
