Batumi liked it. You can go once. Traveled with my wife. The hotel is quite good. Four stars is a lot, but three will do. Located in the center of old Batumi. The city beach is within easy reach (about 200 m. ). The room was good, clean. The room has climate control, so I slept well in the heat of the street.

The room was good, clean. The room has climate control, so I slept well in the heat of the street. The bathroom is clean. Cleaning every other day (upon request).
We had breakfast at the hotel, but the food is monotonous, somewhere even annoying. We had lunch and dinner at restaurants near the hotel. There is a German restaurant right next to the hotel, but it is a bit pricey. Also near the hotel, the Georgian restaurant "Genatsvale" is very good (a variety of Georgian dishes, wines, lemonade), I highly recommend it. Not far from the hotel is the Muslim quarter with numerous Turkish catering establishments.
The tours were organized by ourselves. There is a point on the embankment where you can go on an organized excursion in any direction. My wife and I paid 80 lari (800 hryvnia) and drove ourselves in a small minibus for the whole day to the waterfall, wine cellars, etc. On the city bus we got to the Batumi Botanical Garden and walked there all day. We also went up the cable car.
The city beach is clean, the water too, but the pebbles create certain inconveniences. Well, as without a native: baklava, cold beer, seeds... just got it.
In the evening, pleasant evening walks along the central embankment and the tourist part. Every day we discovered some splendor of Batumi. I do not advise you to go into the slums, a depressing view.
So I advise the Vanilla and Batumi hotel))
