Booking through GTA. Hotels (now renamed DHR. com) for a promotion.
This Millennium hotel is located in a quiet and respectable area of Mayfair, opposite the green Grosvenor Square, surrounded by embassies. It occupies an old Georgian mansion, the spirit of which has been preserved to this day. The building is in excellent condition, all the "stuffing" is modern and meets the needs of the guests.
The rooms are spacious, clean, bright, with beautiful wooden furniture, soft light. Central air conditioning.
The shower room is spacious and clean, the faucets and plumbing are of high quality and serviceable.
The rooms have tea/coffee making facilities and ironing equipment, minibar, TV and telephone.
Soundproofing is good, cleaned thoroughly, linen and towels are snow-white.
When booking or upon check-in, you can choose the type of breakfast - regular or full English breakfast.
The latter is distinguished by the presence of hot dishes, in particular, the legendary oatmeal in two forms. All the food is of excellent quality, delicious, the service in the restaurant is at a high level - cutlery, starched napkins and attentive staff who speak several languages.
Also in the hotel is the popular Pine Bar, which is a pleasure to visit in the evening - a very soulful atmosphere, live music on certain days.
Halls, elevators, corridors of the hotel - all in a classic style, elegant and beautiful.
The square in front of the hotel deserves special mention. There are a lot of them in London, and each is green, beautiful and creates an atmosphere of peace and tranquility in the middle of the metropolis. We saw Grosvenor Square in August - it was fresh and green, I want to see it sometime in the fall.
The hotel is five minutes walk from Hyde Park, Oxford and Bond Streets, a little further to Piccadilly and Regent Streets.
Soho and Buckingham Palace are also within walking distance - you can walk to these places in half an hour, but the area is very beautiful, walking is a pleasure.
It must be borne in mind that a deposit is taken upon check-in, and this may not even be warned. Here, without any mention, they blocked 500 pounds on the card, which returned only a month after departure.
I can safely recommend this hotel to all categories of tourists.
