Christmas fairs. Series 5.
Some people go to the bath every year, on December 31, some people fly to warm regions every winter, and some people (let's not point a finger : ))) visit Christmas fairs every year.
This year, our choice fell on Strasbourg, a city that holds the honorary title of European Capital of Christmas. And he still deserves his title! Because I have never seen such a breadth and variety of Christmas decor - it's just a kind of outrageous mimicry!
By the way, the main beauty of Strasbourg this year also had her own adventures. The first Christmas tree was not even brought to the city, it broke during transportation. The second Christmas tree was brought, installed and the tree, unable to withstand the weight of the decorative elements, cracked. As a result, only the third version of the Christmas tree has taken root, which today adorns Kleber Square.
And the evening version
Strasbourg is a stunning concentration of half-timbered buildings
Surviving defenses
Temples with amazing energy inside
And all sorts of goodies; )
Gratin au Munster
Tartre Flambé e
The famous Alsatian meter bread - this handsome man, for example, weighs 14 kg and is 2 meters long.
And yes, you definitely won't pass the Cathé drale Notre-Dame-de-Strasbourg
And if you get bored of the big city, you can take the Christmas shuttle and explore the charming villages of Alsace:
Snowy Kaysersberg
Rainy Riquewihr
Medieval Ribeauvillé

As a result, only one phrase comes to mind…. If I had a second life, I would spend it here, in Prostokvashino in Alsace… : )))
