Let me start by saying that the hotel is very convenient. We walked to most of the sights. But in order to save time and to get more done, they started taking the subway. Very tasty sushi in front of the hotel. Opposite is a supermarket where you can buy ready-made salads to choose from, as well as grilled potatoes with chicken. Also opposite the exit from the Arch is the famous restaurant Bouillon Chartier.
We settled in very quickly. The employee at the reception speaks Russian. The rooms are small and there is no air conditioning. But we did not see a single air conditioner in the building in all of Paris. The rooms are small everywhere, this is Paris : ) We were ready for this. A little cramped. But it didn't bother us at all. Of course, I would like some more spacious closet in which things could be laid out. But these are all trifles. We came to the hotel only to spend the night and were happy! There is a safe, free of charge. There is shower gel and hand soap. Towels were changed every day. The bed is snow-white, starched.
Iron was used every day. In a separate utility room. Generally no problem.
The breakfasts are quite good. Tea, coffee, juice. Croissants. Yoghurts. Cereal with milk. We ate in the morning. Enough for lunch.
Service at the hotel is very even. All are courteous. Requests are responded to very quickly. Shower drain clogged, repaired the same day.
Our impressions were sooooo good both from the hotel and from Paris as a whole!
I strongly recommend this hotel!

The room was cleaned every day, no complaints, the staff is polite. The breakfast is normal. The main thing is the location of the hotel, 10 minutes to the opera and the metro nearby. euros and before going to bed I could have dinner in the room. Lunch in a cafe 15-25 euros. All excursions are interesting, the weather was warm, the French are cheerful and sympathetic. It is impossible to see all the sights in a week, you will have to go again.

I agree with previous reviews - the location is really good. Although there are better ones. Unless there is a convenient transport interchange - the metro is nearby. Although there are better ones. Unless there is a convenient transport interchange - the metro is nearby. Yes, to the Grand Opera and Galeri -15-20 minutes, but when it's every day……. and with children……it doesn't seem to be around anymore. By the way, getting from the Moulin Rouge is not difficult - along a straight sloping road - 20-25 minutes.
There is simply no view from the windows - although you can look at the dirty courtyard (also through dirty windows) either at the windows of a nearby building! As soon as we turned into a quarter, not a small amount of garbage caught my eye. Really dirty! Worse seen only in Cairo. The homeless stupidly sleep next to the hotel (although they were observed a lot further). Settlement ONLY after 14, although the rooms were free, but the cleaners are too busy! The staff is black and Vietnamese.
Arrived in the morning. When we were asked to open the storage room for luggage, they opened it only from the third reminder……. and then a room (well, about 6 square meters) opened up in front of us – full of things!! ! To my bewildered question and where can I put things - the servant pretended "You don't understand mine" and waved her hand towards the street. By the way, they somehow speak English at the reception and that's it....with the rest of the gestures. At 2 pm we were finally given the keys. And again disappointment. The rooms, to put it mildly, did not smell very pleasant. The rooms are small and uncomfortable. The shower light is very dim, no hair dryer. The renovation hasn't been done in a very long time. The plumbing is leaking. There is a TV set, but without Russian-language channels, although the French speech is like music, you will hear it!
Breakfast is a separate story. Not too clean basement (shabby ceilings and walls), in which tables are placed. Served - croissants, yogurt, jam (four types to choose from), butter, melted cheese, tea, coffee and of course UPI (where without it). Croissant - one per person. No person - no croissant. Although baguettes take as much as you like. You sit, eat, and workers and staff go back and forth past you . . As already mentioned, there is no early breakfast for those leaving, probably breakfast is not provided. Although they applied, they tried to take dry rations, so to speak.
Another point - on the last day in one of our rooms the door handle broke (the tongue was not pressed). I'll make a reservation right away - they handled it carefully. It happened in the evening. Naturally turned to the receptionist. And here the news was waiting for us - it turns out that WE broke it. The clerk got up, looked at the door - delivered the mentioned verdict (moreover, he immediately forgot English, only in French, since he had an electronic translator with him) and was about to leave! After the question - how to get inside the room - already in English he said that this was not his job, the repairman would come tomorrow. How! In general, they opened it somehow....in 30 minutes.
For those who do not want to pay for one sandwich - 7 euros (although next to the arch near the hotel it is possible and cheaper - pasta for 3 euros). Throughout Paris there is a Monaprix chain of stores, an analogue of our supermarkets. There and cheaper and a large selection (including cheese and wine). The closest of those that we came across - from the Grand Opera down, about before the second, third turn after rue de Kazanova (on the right hand).
Metro tickets immediately buy 10 pcs.
Verdict - if you already got to this hotel, don't be too upset, you only spend the night in it. But if there is a choice, it is better to immediately look for another. By the way, our friends stayed in the 1st district (unfortunately, I forgot the name of the hotel), the view of the Eiffel Tower, cleanliness, etc. - the difference in price is 40 euros per room.
We are in this hotel more than a foot.

A tourist arrives in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and when leaving the hotel, he finds himself in a littered and shabby yard, which costs nothing to sweep, but no one is in a hurry to do this. In addition, what is most unpleasant, some semi-criminal dark-skinned personalities are constantly hustling in this yard, who make noise at night, have fun and sort things out in full voice. The impression is that you are not in Paris, but in Harlem. There are hotels ** on the neighboring streets and even in the same block, but there is nothing like that. all these houses were built. The trouble is that in "Victoria" these rooms are also shabby and dead, and in such an environment you still don’t want to be on vacation. And the maids clean up normally, and the linen is changed, but the hotel does not save their good work.

To go to the toilet to pee (the door is in front of your nose), you need a second person to climb onto the bed with legs or leave the room. And in order, sorry, to poop, you need to put one foot in the shower. You can spend the night in a hotel only when you are properly swollen or tired. This hotel is absolutely not suitable for lovers - it does not smell of romance in it. Next time I will choose a hotel further away, but bigger. I am not a spoiled person, I have seen everyone, but, sorry, I experienced such inconvenience for the first time.

Meals - not breakfast, but a light snack. But everything is edible.
The staff is serious, speaks a little bit of all languages. There are no boors and slobs.
For its 2 stars, the hotel is super!

Metro station "Grand Boulevard" in five minutes, 15 minutes on foot you can walk to the Opera. Visit Paris, it's a different world, a world of kind, uncomplicated people, beautiful architecture and always a good mood!

The room is tiny. They took a triple - the third bed is removed as if it were a closet. At the same time, she has a broken leg and you can sleep on it only by propping it up with a half-chair-half-table. I don't recommend this bed for people heavier than me. Better go fight.
There is one slightly Russian-speaking receptionist, which is good. He told us where to exchange a large bill, which was not accepted in any store, right at the exit of the hotel, a Russian-speaking exchanger.
Breakfast is boring. They say there used to be eggs and sausages? Now they are not. There is only tea-coffee-cocoa, juice (for my taste, not freshly squeezed), confiture-butter-processed cheese and a baguette with a croissant. One day is great. Two is nothing. On the third I want to howl. We took sausage slices in the store - it became easier)))) At the same time, a sign hangs above the croissants, such as "one person is equal to one croissant, one person is not equal to two croissants. " Well, what are we? We took three baguettes each)))) I want to eat something.
On the last day we left at 6.30, we were not given breakfast to go. However, we didn't really ask for it. Got it. But paid off? Must be!
In general, the hotel is all C grade. Apart from the location. It's a five

Together with a toilet and a bathroom and a corridor - approximately 10 sq. m. Like my kitchen. True, I still can’t imagine how a toilet with a bath and a corridor can fit into my kitchen. Well done French. Almost the entire area of the room is occupied by a large bed - you lie side by side freely (not on top of each other). Between the bed and the walls of 30 cm of free space. At the foot, a narrow table adjoins the bed, the distance between the bed and the table is exactly to put a chair. Well, get through - somehow, not counts. Well thought out about the toilet door. It is located opposite the bed. In the morning I lowered my legs to the floor and, using the handle on the toilet door, you can get out of bed, after yesterday's fatigue, when your body is still sick. Well, at night it is advisable not to go to the toilet, it will be noisy. We lived on the first floor, in room 125 (in reality, this is the second floor) - there is a balcony door, though there is no balcony. Instead, a grate is provided so as not to fall out (I understood this). Nothing, it’s convenient, in the morning you open the balcony door, lie down on the grate and this is quite enough to feel like on a balcony. It is quiet at night, the balcony door saves, especially when motorcycles pass through the yard. The acoustics in the courtyard are good, but the room is quiet. In general, it was quiet, with the exception of Friday, when after a week of work the youth relaxed right up to 4 o'clock in the morning. Here the balcony door did not save.
In the room, high above the table, a flat-screen TV. Well done too (I mean the French) - look at the TV from the bottom up. All of them are somehow unusual, peculiar. For example, there is a TV, but there are almost no programs for viewing. There were 10 channels tuned, but three programs were shown on them, and all in French. In some distant Tunisia, you could watch our second channel. Remember your homeland. And here everything is strict - like: "What did you come for? Watch TV? " Well, the TV itself is apparently for the interior.
About breakfast. Great. Again, I didn't expect this. When the table is full, but there is nothing to eat. No, everything on the table is edible, take what is called "I don't want to. " We didn't have any eggs. Probably, once there were sausages here, but then they disappeared, this year eggs fell out of the menu, and next year, probably, yogurts will also disappear. It's okay, people live. Here in one review (by Lesya) it is written that the croissants are huge. Apparently Lesya herself is tiny, and in comparison with her, they seemed big to her. But how airy it is. For comparison, if you take it in your hand and crush it into a ball, then it will not even pull on a table tennis ball. Even such a small piece of cheese, which they give there, will cover it "like a bull in Europe. " But again, it’s good, I’m talking about breakfast in general, I’m not a very thin person, why hide it, even with the naked eye you can see that I have extra pounds in some places. I took advantage of this opportunity and by the end of the week I had reduced my dimensions by two holes on the belt. Again, good. My old hole is completely loose.
The room was clean, cleaned well, always fresh towels. Something went wrong on the second day. But we are experienced people, we quickly realized that one euro on the table would fix everything. And so it happened. Everything quickly recovered - not only the euros were removed from the table, but at the same time they captured the entire room.
In general, I liked the hotel. If I manage to visit Paris again, I will go (just in case) to the same hotel.
Here it would be necessary to give marks, and I was about to give them, but the thought stopped me: either I give marks to them, or to myself.....
